2019 NFL 33 BIF

I think we pick a second strange number 12, 15, 16, 25, something like that as a default number for week 17 in case 33 doesn’t hit. If nothing else, we can roll this round into week 1 next year, but I think everyone who signed up for the round should ship, even if it’s split between the winners of the first 2 rounds. Just my thoughts on it.

 

I’d imagine if it doesn’t hit, no one ships. A little late in the game to say just ship to the previous winners. Kind of hard to do much, since it was never discussed before round 2 started. Let’s hope someone gets it next weekend, I’d gladly take a Bucs 33! Haha

 

We’d almost be better off doing a playoff bracket, winner gets all of 3 & 4s beers, or winner and runner up, or top 3 win beer

 

One I do at work winner is whatever team closest to 33 without going over wins. But then again that's for cash and money is already collected

I think this is sounds like a great way to wrap up week 17, and makes the most sense. There will be a guaranteed winner(s).

I like the closest to 33 idea. With two groups on the clock there are enough boxes in case there are a couple teams that hit.

Now hopefully someone hits and this was all for not.

 

I was thinking under or over, 31 and 35 could split the winnings but we do usually play PIR rules. Either way works for me

 

I think a better solution would be whoever has a team named after a bird that starts with "F" should win. However if that is not agreeable to the majority any other solution is fine with me but it should be decided prior to the week 17 games. Closest to but not over 33 with ties splitting the beers seems to be a reasonable answer if the "F" bird doesn't work.

 

Honestly think the closest either way is a little more fair. Not the team owners fault they hit 34 and lose beer to a team that hits 31 cause its under.

 

But i'm also not a sender so...…

The problem with this is it doubles the chance of ties.

 

while this is true, in the last 4 weeks 4 times 34 has been hit. 32 has not been hit. I'm good either way, just a thought. (looking back 31 and 35 have hit a few times too)

 

Ties may not be a bad thing with 15 boxes.
