I’ve actually never seen. Love Training Day, absolutely hate Reality Bites. I’m kinda meh on Hawke.
I watched Buffalo ‘66 again recently. Talk about a movie. I was actually toying with changing my avatar. The photo booth scene is one of my favorites.

 

It's a great and underappreciated film. But to keep this somewhat on topic, I've always thought that Vincent was secretly a beer nerd, and only wanted to go to Titan because it was so hazy.

 

Hops Only is very good and melon forward. I do get some pine notes on the backend. It actually reminds me of Green Power B1 but obviously not as good. Of course they drop ACE 15 minutes after I leave.

This thread has an uncanny way of bringing up topics that I’ve had a discussion about within the last 24 hours. Kind of like how Amazon operates.

 

I'm personally oblivious to whatever it is you referenced by the former, but the latter, as others have already mentioned upthread, is outstanding.

For my palate, it's the best stout (BA or not) they've done all year. And maybe even longer than that. Broken clock or blind squirrel, they somehow got this one right and found their nut.

 

If “barrel aged penis pump” is announced tomorrow, then my mind will be properly blown

 

Except that Amazon not only anticipates what you don't really need to buy, but semi-automatically makes that purchase for you through opportunistic and exploitative nudging.

damn...I was sad to miss that one...not usually a fan of their stouts but seem to always be a sucker and try them anyway. I heard BA Rice Proxy would be next but who knows. I wasn't super impressed with the regular Rice Proxy but thought it may be worth a try.

 

Going to get cans tomorrow if they actually last, but also thinking a growler or two being that I'll have plenty of people to actually share with rather than be obligated to down 32 or 64 oz in a sitting. Any strong opinions on Green Diamonds vs triple mylar vs cream on the inside vs ddh oh forever vs space broccoli (I guess I'm asking, if you could only get two)? I had green diamonds years ago and never had regular mylar. Only one I've had recently is forever on tap, pretty solid. (As a reference I tend to enjoy ACE and SD more than most of their one offs, and don't mind some lactose, like ddh space dreams, but triple cream etc tends to be a bit much for me).

 

Cans should definitely last, don’t think a weekday release has sold out within 24 hours.

As for the growler options you can pretty much flip a series of coins, but with a gun to my head I’d probably go with Green Diamonds and Cream on the Inside.

Hops Only was solid, I agree on the melon notes being there. The taproom was actually a little more crowded then expected. Usually travel for the holidays so wasn't sure what NYC around this time is like. Gonna have some DDH All Citra and check out the tree this afternoon.
