As stated. Have other lambic and HF beers to expand/substitute.

    Genuine question:

With the bourbon tax, it would seem that you’re valuing the bottle at over near or over $2k. I understand that this is an old bottle, but it is “just” st lam, not one of the one offs or a more limited bottle. Is there something special about this St Lam that has made this bottle that valuable?

03 St Lam is unique in that it is the only St Lam aged in Port barrels. Makes it a particularly noteworthy vintage and a massive whale. To be honest I have no idea what a fair trade would be for an 03 St Lam, but I’d think it would take an absolutely absurd offer.

That's important information . I understand that bottles like this are posted specifically for those people that have this on a wish list rather than the any trader (even high end) that might be simply perusing the forums on any given day. Still, very appreciative for the explanation.

Last one that I saw went for around 2 VRUs, but that was also in 2015, so not sure where it is now.

OP has a decent offer tbh. Last one of these sold a little less than a year ago for 3800. It’s probably dropped a bit now but not too far

Nice offer, although way out of the trading value game. I traded an Eszett and AT for one maybe 5 years ago. Was my second favorite to the merlot. Better than unblended 04.
