Ugh, the Lembeek really is stuff of legend, which thankfully I avoided because I'm a frightened child of the popular conventions of beer, from our sacred mother NEIPA and holy father, spirit and goblin Pastry Stout. But I heard tales, frightening fables, of the noxious olfactory assault that beer waged on unsuspecting brewery fans, style warriors, and of course thre unfortunate tickers of Untappd boxes.

Truly the consummate cautionary tale.

Before this (which is very much the correct answer), I was going to guess Forgot About Drie. Which beyond being a great name, I thought was a good beer? But I only had one bottle, and it was so long ago I don't really remember.

 

4 days left and I can't help but feel like we're running out of steam. I guess a large part of that is a lot of people are off work and have better things to do than check a beer message board. Well I'm at work today for some stupid reason, and it sucks.

The fact that they have not announced a release for tomorrow should have all kinds of people posting here in panic.

 

I may swing down this afternoon to have a few while I edit my dissertation. Perhaps I'll check to see why they haven't posted shit yet for the weekend haha.

Seems like some interesting beers. Is it that difficult to actual name a beer that gives some indication of what it is? Stalks on Stalks? Chicken Riggies? Those just found stupid.

 

I hereby vow that if we get to 189 - #numberofthehazepecker - by midnight 1/1/20, I will finally make the effort to actually visit OH, have a beer or two in the tap room, and lug home some cans via mass transit to the hinterlands of Long Island.

Several people who've never really been active on this site have stepped up to contribute, I brought myself back from the dead (again) expressly for the purpose, and we're about 2.5 pages away with 4.5 days to go. Hell, @rozzom operating at peak capacity could do that on his own.
