I think $17 is the low end, and the range is more realistically $17-20. I just got an Oude Tart for $17 and a Cascade Sang Noir for $21, and I think this will settle somewhere close to those.

I would LOVE it to be $13-15, but damn I dont see how.

This. This is exactly what I thought of when the base beer for BB was mentioned. Not a bad thing, either. BB was excellent.

No way this goes for any less than $17 anywhere. Maybe $16.50 a specs with a cash discount. Expect 17-20 range, easily

Per oz Bishops Barrel is still more expensive than $20 a 750 (25 oz's). I paid $15 for 12oz's, twice.

I know that's because it was an on premise release and SABC didn't charge nearly that much. I just wanted to point out that Bishops Barrel for many consumer was much more expensive than the most expensive Jester King beer

Well I hope you bought up a whole bunch! Thats a cheaper price than I found in San Diego, which makes exactly zero sense. :grimacing:

You paid $15 a bottle for Bishops?... Who did this to you and do you still need a **** kit? Here's a blanket, you're safe here.

All joking aside... seriously who did this to you?

Correct, and many places it was $8 which would be right in line with a 750 of JK (if it's priced at $17-18). I'm sure if you find Whiskey Rodeo on premise it will be much more expensive as well.

I'm kind of confused, you're acknowledging SABC didn't charge that much so you know it was the retailer who screwed you over. Many retailers can and will do the same with JK beers. I'm not sure, but l think you're in the minority paying that much. I wouldn't pay that myself and I sure as hell wouldn't continue to go there.

FW Saucer. One of 2 or 3 locations in FW that even got it. Again I was happy to pay it...but there is a reason the Saucer still has plenty.

In reality I know both SABC and Jester King price their beers fairly and I believe they have the consumers best interest at heart. I'll buy plenty of Funk Metal and be a happy camper.

It's worth noting that I just spent $30 on the T-Shirt as well...so this beer has already started digging a hole in my pocket

False and false. Bonnie was not 100% fermented in oak.

Also, in regards to Funk Metal at WFM, the earliest we will have it is Friday, 11/30 and it will be priced similarly to Weasel Rodeo/Boxer's (somewhere in the $13-$15 range).

It might have been Bonnie racked on oak with kombucha added?

Funk Metal is getting picked up by our distributor this morning. Also, after about five months in the bottle, it's pretty effervescent (~3.5 volumes of CO2). So, like all our beers, we recommend 24 hours refrigeration before opening.
