I appreciate any "beer finder" on a brewer's website, but the current interface of the Sierra Nevada one is surprisingly difficult.

Same here. IT drove me mad. In the end I just assumed it wasn't working as intended. SN is not the only beer website to have a malfunctioning finder

Again, thanks for the info. I went by yesterday and picked up a twelve pack. This is a nice beer, very well balanced. I actually enjoyed it more than SNPA. As you said a very good pale ale.

    And it's $13.99 this week. I think I'll lay in a couple 12-packs.

The 30th anniversary beer series was great. That imperial stout they put out was one of the best beers of the year for me.

Based on what I'm hearing this sounds like a rather run of the mill beer. I'm totally cool with the idea of it being a classic WCIPA....but I'm not hearing anything about explosive aromas etc.

I'll pass...or perhaps buy a single to see if you folks are wrong :grimacing:

An excellent run of the mill beers is just what’s lacking in the beer market right now. This beer is fabulous and I’ll be drinking a lot of it.

or maybe that was one big oxymoronic statement, maybe someone will get what I mean

I understand what you are saying, I think. Good affordable shelf-stable beer is in shortage these days....because turbid fault-veiled junk juice is still pervading

When beer finder creators, don't use said beer finders. :expressionless:

Agreed, it was much more understated than I was expecting based on how it looked in the glass, but I found I really, really liked it.

I just gave up on their beer finder as they really don't make Porter, Stout and Kellerweis anymore so those won't show up! But I know if I drive 30 minutes into Long Island I can find most current SN selections but not nearby. Not sure why the local reps don't get the beer on more shelves.

It's understandable. If you work for Sierra Nevada, it's probably not hard to find Sierra Nevada.

40th found and in the house. Assessment to come soon, but same as Celebration? Um, no. Maybe similar hop characters, but not as robust.

    Pale Ale's big brother.

Bought a 12 pack last week, and really enjoy the brew. Better yet, got it for $14.99. A win-win I say.

"excellent run of the mill" covers any confusion that might occur. It is a good state of general beer affirmation.

I prefer using "non-craftie beers" these days.

It’s kind of funny, it’s probably only ten years ago that “non-craftie” meant an adjunct lager from one of the big boys.
