With all due respect to SN ,SA and DFH, I want to give a shout out to Brooklyn for not caving in and
Naming one of their beers Hazy this or Hazy that. They held their ground. Not to mention they make some of the best beer out there. Especially their big bottle series ( don't know if it is called something else ? ) Old Fashion , Black Ops. to name 2. Nothing but respect to the Brooklyn Brewery.

Hazy by name or look ? Either way they did not throw a beer in their year round or seasonal line up with the haze tag.. as far as we know a employee could of named that beer in the brewery.

As opposed to a “name our beer” consumer contest? I’d assume that most of the beer names at a brewery the size of Brooklyn come from employees.

I'm not a fan of the 'hazy' named beers but I do appreciate it when breweries label beers as such so I know what I'm buying. Honestly, kind of foolish not to name a beer 'hazy - something' if thats what the beer is supposed to be, seems like that's what people want.
