I've never seen Dewey on the app, and I've been following their updates for over a year. I've been to Dewey and they make some great stuff though. I follow Tavour on instagram and get excited to see new breweries that they're adding to their lineup, but there are a few that I've never seen in the app. Great Notion is one that they said they added a few months ago, and I still haven't seen any of their stuff on there. They also posted a photo of some Bissell Bros. the other day, and I've never seen them on there either.

I do see my fair share of Side Project wild ales though, but I haven't made that investment yet. Does anyone know what their bottles run retail? $30-40 per bottle is a tough pill to swallow.

surprised they had a Dewey Secret Machine (as someone earlier mentioned) on there considering how delicate those cans can be

this past summer I picked up a couple of 4 packs of the one they just released...despite putting them in my cooler filled with other beer and ice, one can broke the seal and leaked all over inside the cooler...this was probably within an hour getting to my condo in OCMD

albeit, they were sitting at on top of everything else and unfortunately sideways so I lost about 2/3 of the beer

I would be interested in some Great Notion, particularly Blueberry Muffin and Double Stack

    meant to mention...

been following the tracking on my crate and it said it would reach the courier yesterday, when I checked earlier it said the estimated delivery date is 1/13

it now shows me the courier (Quick Courier Service) and that I will get an email to schedule a delivery window

checked my email and all the times are either 9AM-1PM or 1PM-6PM Monday through Friday but next Monday being the earliest

called and was hoping to see if they could delivery tomorrow so I don't have to wait another four days but they said it's not an option with it coming from their Harrisburg hub and needing to go to their Williamsport hub

wish I had closed my crate earlier but I wanted to get a sizable package (12 beers) and didn't want to grab something just to fill the box

unfortunately the first beer I added is an IPA w/ a bottle date of late November...grabbed a bottle of Parrish Ghost In The Machine because I haven't had the opportunity to try it

I ended up with something similar happening with my crate from Quick. If I had received the email 2 hours earlier I could have scheduled a Friday deliver, but instead had to wait until Monday. You should still be within 2 months of the bottling of that Ghost In the Machine, hopefully it held up alright. I got Atticus Atlas and Mocha Hazelnut Reve from Parish in my last box, and they were both pretty great. I think they added that Ghost In The Machine a week after I got my shipment, and I just wasn't ready to open up another one quite yet.

    NY right now:

    Maplewood, Son of Juice IPA
    White Elm, Fluffaluffagus imperial stout
Lupulin Brewing, Blissful Ignorance DDH DIPA
Adroit Theory, Therapy Sessions imperial stout
    Pfreim, BBA imperial stout

To answer on Side Project, their 750s are typically $15-25. So, definitely more expensive on Tavour, but hell, where else are you gonna get SP without trading an arm and two legs?

Conversely, I get stuff from Cycle on here (always 22oz bombers) and they're always listed for $28, which is honestly sometimes cheaper than their normal retail of $30 or more.

Thought I’d mention this since there’s other ppl in PA in here

Levante Brewing ships within PA and offer free shipping on orders of $75 or more which is likely covered with four 4 packs

Tired Hands ships as well but I checked the cost of shipping on four 4 packs and it was $27

Plus, it may only be beers with no limits such as Alien Church and Lagers

Strange Roots Experimental Ales in Pittsburgh will also ship to PA addresses as well. If you're into spontaneous fermentation/wild ales, I suggest giving them a shot if you get the chance. Unfortunately their free shipping doesn't kick in until you hit $99.

I know I had seen ppl on Untappd choose Tavour for purchase from so I checked to see if they’re a verified venue

You can get a sneak peek of what may become available to you

Great find. The mystery of how their algorithm works is fascinating. I see a lot of beers I saw this week on this Untappd feed as being released this week or last week. However there’s then lots I see that I know are not distributed in my area so they would be candidates to appear for me but they haven’t.

It doesn’t seem like the offerings react to my purchase preferences. I have never bought a sour through Tavour yet I still regularly get sour offerings at the same clip. I wish they did have some kind of preference you could list that would slightly tweak what you see available.

It appears the only significant drawback is the signing for packages and delivery window thing would be a problem for most people.

Thanks to all who contributed here, good bad or ugly results you've had. I was curious about it too. It seems the potential for good results outweighs the bad results, I'll at least try it just to see.

Anyone splurge on a bottle of Berry White from Superstition Meadery this past week? I'm not a mead guy, but it gets incredible reviews. In the end, $85 for a bottle is just too steep for me at this point in time.

I tried my best to not get a bottle. It didn't sell out fast enough though and my will power didn't hold up. Really looking forward to trying it, but will probably save for a special occasion (maybe my birthday?).

It's a magnificent mead. I had some from a friend at a tasting this past summer & shortly after saw a bottle on a shelf in California, of all places. Despite knowing how excellent it is, I couldn't pull the trigger even with the bottle in my hands. I'll admit I did pick it up & put it down three or four times...

It’s a great mead. It’s distributed in Vegas and retails for $78 so bit of a mark up on Tavour.

I actually expected the mark up to be more significant at that price point. Maybe next time it's around I'll have to pull the trigger myself.

Is Levante Brewing any good? My selection includes Handable, Standable, Kickable Reality India Pale Ale.

Thought about it, but looked at it in untapped and noticed a place about 1 hour from me in Iowa has it and know they will have it for a while. Same price as tavour, happy to know isn’t that much of a markup so may go pick it up along with some schramms as well.

    They’re really solid

Last couple of Levante brews I had ranged from really good to excellent...Found Time and Death By Fruit Fetish
