Just wondering if anyone has tried to clone this fantastic stout yet or have run across a recipe for it? I imagine the base would be close TenFidy but with Amburana wood spirals in the aging. Cheers and thanks for any info.

Well, here's a clue right from the beer's BA description: "This beer is an imperial stout aged in whiskey and brandy barrels with figs, dates and Amburana wood spirals."

Thanks for the clue! I’m still a very green home brewer and I’ve only just done one brew with all grain. I was hoping for a grain bill and hop selection/schedule that’s all ready put together. I have no idea how to go about creating my own Bill right now. I kinda figured these things would be added. I just didn’t want to use any stout recipe I found, I Just thought someone may have already put it together. Cheers

This beer is freaking amazing. I've made a few barrel-aged beers now and I'd still feel very nervous trying to replicate it, not least because I have no idea where to source amburana and have no access to brandy barrels.

someone on homebrewtalk cloned cigar city marshal Zhukov. Might be a good place to start for the base stout
