Personally I’d love a Rastal Harmony style glass with the classic OH logo wrap they used to do.

With galaxy being such an important hop for Other Half, I wonder how the Australian bushfires are going to affect the upcoming crop. I realize most of the fires are in NSW, but there have been breakouts in Victoria and Tasmania where the main galaxy farms are.

Fires threatened communities in Victoria’s Buffalo River Valley, including new hop gardens and a processing complex belonging to Hop Products Australia (HPA).

“Residents were evacuated further up the valley, above where we are located, and the smoke was very intense,” Owen Johnston, sales and marketing at HPA, told Beer & Brewer. “Importantly, the people are safe and no damage was done to the farm.”

The hop crop is currently safe and “at the right growth stages you would want at this time of year”. Crucially, hops are not affected by the ‘smoke taint’ that has damaged grape harvests in the Adelaide Hills and the Hunter Valley.

“There are more challenges to come, as I’m not aware of significant rain forecast,” Johnstone, added. “Water restrictions are likely, but we believe we are adequately covered with water rights and stored water reserves on farm.”

Hi OH thread. Veil (Norfolk) local here, looks like we will have some to-go cans here this Wednesday, just wanted to ask the locals, anything from the below list I definitely shouldn't miss picking up? I typically avoid buying cans of triples, but who knows, I can be convinced for the novelty of it all.

If you guys don't help me I am going to be forced to type these all in individually on untappd and go numb (dumb?) reading the ratings.

They opened up the old tap room around 530ish yest, some event in the main room. I ran in to grab a friend something right when they announced it and didn't have time for a pour or else I would have loved to get a pour in the OG taproom!

I know we are over a week out, but I am seeing theres potential snow 1/23 and 1/24 which if that happens, I would likely not make it to Grand Delancey. So fingers crossed that changes

 

DDH DMD on the keg list!

 

The last time this was in cans (I think it was the last time) I grabbed a 4 pack and something was just off, it was not as good as it had been in the past.

 

Imagine we got just regular DMD? I think the last time they made that was Thanksgiving week 2016 or 2017?

 

I swear they had regular not Ddh DMD this past year, with been a minute stampedmon the bottom of the can.

Right if it’s now always done that way, they’re no longer doubling anything. It’s just DH.
