Honestly, I think the line size from last year was primarily from All Bananas and the overwhelming hype it received prior to release. I imagine they will be doing BA All Banana and I wouldn't be surprised if they offer some new crazy pastry stout as well. I think it will continue to be a shit show.

How long did the 5th anniversary beers last, last year? What time did they sell out?

everyone who showed up after 2am got dropped allotments, and if i remember correctly, people who arrived at 7-8~am did not get bottles, got cans at very dropped allotments.
I am thinking if its BA banana, it will be 2~pp maximum and you will need to arrive by 1-2am if you want to take one home.

Pretty sure 5th lasted a while but limits on the stouts were cut to 2pp when I got to the front and I got there at some dumb time like 5:30.

2am? Y’all serious or that was a typo?

And sorry for not being clear. I meant 5th anniversary as in the the main hoppy anniversary beer that it sounds like they made a huge amount of. What time did that sell out?

Should be laid back on a Wed afternoon, try some tasters and buy after that!

Will be a shit show, already confirmed lol. I think the "linelyfe" had pretty much died prior to the release last year (we just didnt have as many cans around as we do these days) and it was Armageddon out there. There are people who come from all over and make it a thing to drink all night, so expect it to be just as bad IMO
I think I got there around 7ish give or take I got everything, lowered allotment on the All 5th and I think the 5th Anny IPA lasted through sunday, or at least into sunday.

Per Instagram, they had 40 cases of the 5th Anniversary IPA as of 2PM the Saturday of release, with no line. By the end of the night they posted they had sold out of all Anniversary beers.

I think I went at 3 PM last year and picked up cans of the IPA.

ETA: Confirmed 3 PM last year via a text I sent to #hazegramps.

If you want the 6xDH 6th Anni 6IPA cans I you can get it with no problems if you just show up around 1pm with no lines and plenty of beer, if you want everything you need to do the shit show.

I'd be happy to build a snowman out of all the lactose OH uses if I could light it on fire at the end.

Disney is coming out with an adaptation of one of Hans Christian Andersen's lesser known works The Lactose King.

@Frozen you don’t like lactose in beers? Are the OH no lactose beers better? Can you tell the difference?

I honestly hope there is no BA Bananaversary, while I thought the OG version was great, VIP SB3 was almost the same beer and BA version of that you couldn't force me to taste again. See as how the beer and adjuncts are very similar, I have real low expectations for what a BA Bananaversary may be. Theres going to be some kind of BA bottle most likely (but I hope not), but they are too inconsistent at this point to warrant me wandering over at the ass crack of dawn for it. I'd much rather they have a new stout (non BA) for the anniversary and I would be more inclined to buy that

It would be absolutely hysterical if the anni beer this year was a bottled dopple bock. People would lose their fucking shit.
