For those interested, here's the entire line-up (as of last night's sessions).

I also broke down each beer for the most part and my selections. I'm taking someone who is new to beer and prefers sours, so that is what the legend is all about. This document should make things easier for anyone who is a guest and new to Bruery's beers.

Note that some of the information is not 100%. I quickly put this together (hah, more like 2 hrs but didn't want to spend more time) and the variant ABV and whatnot might not be accurate.

    Hope this helps some!

Below is also the transcribed list. Subject to changes of course, so please don't get mad at the Bruery if some of these don't make an appearance tonight. If you want to show your appreciation, come feed me more samples or tickets at the 8PM event hahaha (kidding).

That's how you do a Barrel Aged Beer night. Or a Member's Party. Or anything where your clients pay a premium price. Nice job Bruery.....

....if they find a way to do these on a weekend someday haha

looks like an amazing beer line up, and I have had a good time at all other Bruery events, so I am sure it is fun... I am really bummed it was on a weekday, especially with the Holidays surrounding it, I am taking a few days off already and have plenty of stuff to do at work. There is always next year though, and I am looking forward to it!

Had a great time at Monday night's celebration with a lot of unique offerings. But I have to gripe and say that I was a little frustrated that they stopped pouring early. Not that I had to drink all 10 samples (I had 7), but when the party is scheduled for 8-10 and they won't pour anything after 9:50, it's a little bit of a bummer.

The highlights for me were Griffon and Bottleworks XII. The biggest disappointment was Rum Barrel 5 Golden Rings... definitely not ready yet and maybe never will be.

The funniest comment I overheard was from a guy drinking Papier who described it as a weird combo of bad vegetables and "carmelized carrots," then promptly poured it in the trash.:grimacing:

Just had a bottle of Cable Car Kriek a couple weeks ago... have to say I completely disagree. I preferred the regular Cable Car.

Yeah I realized later that it was at the other bottle station... my bad. Though hopefully next year brings a new batch of 100% BA AM. Anyway thanks again to you and the rest of the team for a really well put together event. Doing four sessions has to be a drain on the staff but it was just the right quantity of guests and pour stations.... nailed it.

The Wanderer wasn't available at the 8:00 Tuesday session, so they put on White Oak Sap instead. A good option, especially with White Chocolate and White Oak and Melange 3 for comparison.

Just home from the 8-10 sesh-doesn't get much better than that. Vintage Chocolate Rain, Black Tuesday, Oude Tart, and BA 2TDs were treats. Both casks offerings were interesting, whether or not they were my favorites. Nice to be able to taste the Griffon Bruxellois before committing to a # of bottles.

There was room to breath and walk around without touching a million sweaty dudes (there weren't a ton of sweaty dudes because the extra breathing room provided adequate cooling space for the bald and bespectacled among us).

Great job by the whole staff...this event was run fantastically, though it was hard, nigh impossible to use 10 tickets in only 105 minutes of potential ordering time...especially having to drive back to West LA afterward.

Praise to the bourbon-y gingerbread confection that was BA Four Calling Birds. I might need to procure additional bottles of that one, a near-ideal bourbon barrel-aged winter warmer.

My first time trying White Oak Sap...and I was really underwhelmed. I thought it was really 1-dimensional-and thus a great candidate for blending, which is what they use it for. Good tick, so it's all good.

A good event. 2010 Chocolate Rain is drinking amazingly, as is 2009 Oude Tart (blending them together is even better.). Finally got to try Bottleworks XII, which is just flat out delicious.

    My only gripes:
The Wanderer kicked in 20 minutes. That's dumb.
Two hours (really, 1 hour 45 minutes) is not enough to drink ten tasters. Don't get me wrong, I drank all ten, but not at the pace I would have liked.

I had my pour of white oak sap about 5 minutes after the wanderer kicked, and I thought it was significantly different than the one served at the 8pm hoarders dinner. I was disappointed in the lack of flavor. The white oak sap was the star of the hoarders dinner in my opinion.

Agree with the consensus that there wasn't enough time - especially since everything was served so cold - bottles of choco rain 2010 and the like kept on ice. Just wasn't enough time to take off the chill, which was a shame with beers this complex.

Overall, very happy to be there to sample an unbelieveable list for a reasonable price - I even enjoyed the steak torta served up by the Tamarindo Truck.

Agree about the time as well - I suspect if they had just said 'unlimited pours' that they probably would have served less beer (or maybe that's crazy talk?) . Instead, I'm spending the last 20 minutes trying to find the right balance between enjoying it but using up my tasters. Ended up just using my empty water glasses to hold pours while I went and got another, resulting in having like 3 full tasters in front of me when the stopped serving.

$30 for this list though has got to be the best value of any beer event I've been to - just awesome.

Amazing beers for the most part. Griffon is absurdly delicious and BA 4 Calling Birds tasted like bourbon cookies without being too sweet. Rum barrel five golden rings, however, tasted like the syrup from ghetto fruit cocktails - really horrible and my first trash can pour at a bruery event.

I'm pretty sure with that time limit, unlimited pours would actually have less beer drank by the end. I got through 8 of my 10, but probably because I was talking a bit, but I was rushing because of how many tickets I realized I had left. Overall, super stoked––couldn't get better than that list.

All the different opinions are super interesting. I thought the Rum Barrel 5GR was great, but in it's own right. BA 2 Turtle Doves was like drinking a "session" Black Tuesday and was awesome. Seems like it's in its peak. Anyone else come to the conclusion that Grey Monday is the beer to rule them all after a second try?

Nope, at the Hoarders dinner we got it straight from the horse's mouth: Griffon is pretty much the same base as Otiose (same barrels too) but with lots of cherries instead of guava.
