What's the parking like for this event? I seem to remember reading in the past that there's another lot close by that patrons can use.

Use the corporate center parking lot which is past the flower store. offices should be closed because of black friday.

You can hop on over to Belmont Station for some Pliny, BP, and three years of Supplication on tap for Portland prices. That explains your almost

LOL!!! Too true. Really takes a lot of the sting out of missing black Friday at Capones (though it's always a fantastic event that I just wish I could be in town for!). Cheers!

Anyone go today? How was it? Anything still on tap I might stop for dinner tonight.

Bolt cutter is still on I dunno how much longer though. I heard 3 kegs kicked so far.red poppy, framboise, and I dunno the third. They r tapping another poppy at 5 though.

Oh and for the Funky Buddha berliner fans out there, the bullfrog peche is drinking very nice. So crisp yet very tart.

I went this morning with my cousin, arrived at 8am and got one of the last tables in the back. I thought the whole thing was great, from the taplist to the service from the waitstaff. The only problem I had was the breakfast, as we had the waitress put our order in right at 9am, and received barely cooked omelets (with no croissant) at 10:30am. I understand there's a lot of people there that all want food, but you have to have some kind of system in place to get food out faster than that.

Yeah, agree on the food. Wish it was available at 7 instead of 9 too. Had a good time, got to try everything I wanted to.

swung in here on Friday night after getting the "hour and a half wait time" at Forest & Main. arrived a little after 7 and managed to get a seat not long after getting inside. Still a lot of great stuff on tap at the time but the CBS and Cantillon was gone. Only had two beers myself (the Prism and the Stone) but man is it hard to select something on the list that is not just low ABV but also under 10%.

I went with my girlfriend on Sunday around 1 PM or so....plenty of seats at the bar, even with a private party in the back. About a third to half of the list was crossed out, but Bolt Cutter and Better Half still remained somehow. Multiple firkins were still there as well. Stone Mint Chocolate is awesome.

the Cantillons were $12 per 4oz. pour which they were calling 6oz. pours....$36 for 12oz. of Cantillon was completely ridiculous.

Take it for what it's worth but I overheard that he (Matt) paid $48 per Cantillion Mamouche bottle (750ml).

not that this makes it much better, but correction: the fou foune was $12 a pour. the LP Kriek, Mamouche, and LP Geuze were $10 a pour.

It was beyond mobbed. I got myself three beers I wanted to try that I hadn't had before, then dipped out. Only thing I was disappointed about missing was the Pliny.
