DDH Powdered Cheese Imperial IPA(8%) brewed with our friend Drew from @18thstreetbrewery. It was our first 100% lupulin powder beer. Brewed with Citra, Simcoe and Tomahawk lupulin powder and dry hopped with a huge charge of extra Citra lupulin powder. $20 per 4 pack, 1 case per person.⁠⠀

This year we were asked to help announce the re-release of an all time fan favorite collaboration with @18thStreetBrewery from Hammond, Indiana. This new revamped version of Double Dry Hopped Powdered Cheese is a 8% Imperial IPA with % Cryo Hops. ⁠⠀

As part of Other Half’s 6th Anniversary we wanted to share one of our favorite memories of the last few years. It was extremely hard to narrow it down to just one. Without a doubt some of our earliest and best memories from OH revolved around Centre Street and the amazing atmosphere of the Other Half Line Shares on Saturday mornings. One of our favorite traditions was tracking down the one and only OG brewery cat, #GangstaCat, who routinely patrolled the line. We would make it a point to capture a photo of Gangsta with previously released Other Half cans and do a weekly IG post centered around her. #RIPGangstaCat , we love & miss you . Cheers to Other Half Brewing on 6 wonderful years and thank you once again for this amazing honor to represent for our favorite brewery .

 

The description of the “amazing atmosphere” and all the moments that changed someones life while chugging beers next to a dumpster under the BQE at 6am really has me laughing but with a hesitation of concern.

The untappd ratings actually intrigue me. I love a smoked beer, whether it be a stout or a lager so that doesn’t scare me. What scares me is that one of the reviews says it’s a stout and a Schwartzbier mixed together. What is this, Spaceballs? At $18 a 4, that’s a decent price to find out if I like it or not.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 1/22, at noon, we have two new Bloomfield-brewed IPAs for sale in the taproom. We had our friends from @prisoncitybeer come thru a couple weeks back, and we are excited for our collab to release. ⁠⠀

All Riot Everything (8.5%) Imperial India Pale Ale with Prison City. Our first collab with our Auburn, NY friends @prisoncitybeer is a mash up of our All "-----" Everything series and Riot, their popular IPA. We hopped it with Citra, Simcoe and the hard to find Riwaka. $20 per 4 pack, 1 case per person. ⁠⠀

Pink Chroma (6.3%) India Pale Ale Our hand selected Cashmere hops go into making this 100% Cashmere IPA. This beer has a fruity pebbles kick with a sweet tart lemon character. $16 per 4 pack, 1 case per person.

 

Prison City collab sounds awesome.

 

I'm really confused. Is the 6th Anniversary THIS weekend? Or is this just the pre-party weekend?

 

They're just starting to promote it with some collabs both old and new.

I imagine the collabs for the anny weekend will be their BEST friends only (Monkish, Trillium, Veil)

Also weird seeing the Tired Hands collab. Thought they didnt like each other

 

I assume they’re overplaying their cards with the wristbands. Half the people who drink their beer now probably never heard of these beers and neither of them have lactose.

Maybe it’s just wishful thinking on my part. I’m going tomorrow morning regardless at this point. Once I get an idea in my head it’s virtually impossible for me not to act on it.
