    @HeartofMiami just hit me with a box of stellar brews from a state who’s beers I love but rarely get to drink.

    - blind beer “want” in a god damn sock! From Dirty Jersey :rofl: This will be consumed and reviewed shortly. Unsure of style so gonna chill it.
    - Funky Buddha: Wide Awake It’s Morning, Last Snow, and Maple Bacon Coffee Porter (love, love, and love)
    - J Wakefield: Modern Craft Beverage (mango guava dragonfruit sour). I had a few of their sours a few years ago when visiting Miami, and I thought they were unreal. Can’t wait to try this!
    - Civil Society: Margarita Colorway (smoked tart ale). Another place I visited on my last FL trip. Also I love smoked sours.
    - Rare Barrel: Small Acts (soured grisette)
    - Trill: Red Currant Fated Farmer (yesssss Red Currant :heart_eyes:)
    - Odd Breed: Elusive Words (cherry saison). New brewery for me, and it looks great.

    Awesome box, Jared. You hit my style preferences perfectly. I love everything you included. Now, back to planning the response to the 1st attack...

    Blind beer review from @HeartofMiami . Only knowns are it’s a want from NJ.

    L - 2-finger dense hazelnut head recedes as slow as a glacier. Body is pitch black. Clearly a stout.

    S - Fuck! Tons of cinnamon. Milk chocolate, vanilla, maple?. Not smelling much booze so at all, so guessing non-BA adjunct stout.

    T - so much cinnamon spice on the taste too. Coffee, vanilla, drinking chocolate. Low bitterness. Low sweetness. Low booziness.

    F - medium-full, super-creamy body with low carb.

    O - what a decadent dessert stout. I would say pastry stout but this tastes more old school than that. Not overly sweet, and not barrel aged. I’m guessing this is Kane, but I have several Kane stouts on my wants list so it could be any of them.
