My only guess is the bartender upstairs who presumably updated Untapped is now over at WF Tysons.

    That would be a bummer.

I'm a huge fan of Ardent Brewing. Their IPA X is super affordable and very tasty imo. They usually have a good amount of fun stuff on tap, as wel.

Still plenty of Abraxas on shelves in DC. I have a feeling the vanilla variants will sit for a while.

Vanilla no good or just high priced?

The price and flavor profile. Similar to how I saw vanilla Black Note sit for a while. Both very good beers but there are so many other options for dark and bba beers these days.

Doubtful? I haven't seen any news about that in over a year. Would love to be proven wrong though.

I read in the other half thread that they have most of the equipment in the spot already so should be some time soon...

Yeah, a friend of a friend said he had inside information that they were definitely going to open in January. That was in September though...

I wonder what kind of filtration systems they're going to need to use DC water.

Out of curiosity what size are the to-go joose crowlers from The Answer? 16 or 32 oz?

A little birdie told me that we will be seeing Aslin kegs in DC very soon. Looking forward to growlers of that.

Are Aslin IPAs back on track? All i've heard since Alexandria opened is that they aren't nearly as good. When they scaled up in Herndon there was a period where the beers were very much oof point... I think it's a very delicate balance to brew the way they do.

I don't play with the $30+ 500mls at all so no need to tell me how they are :sunglasses:

And those $30-35 bottles sold out in 2 hours. Unreal.

More like 80 minutes. If you weren't in line by 9:45, you were out of luck. I've got to imagine the people who only waited in line for an hour are pissed.

Churchkey has kegs of Aslin beer all the time. But you mean places where you can get a growler fill I'm sure.
