came home to a box. Looked and felt like a beer box. But addressed to someone else. My cousin actually. Reached out to her....and to wasn't for her. She'd send stuff to my house sometimes when she's out of town (which she isn't)....aka, its alllll confusion. But fuck it, I felt like it was beer. And it was!!!
If i'm not mistaken, thank you @jschott75 for my second Noob attack! Pretty wild box, all Dark or sour/funk (which is a very good thing for a box to be). And Mike n Ikes for shake (roomie was stoned, those are gone)

Bruery - White Chocolate with Cherries
    Pipeworks - Russian Nesting Dog
    Blind #1 and #2
    Transient - Junie Goes Coconuts
    Transient - It's Currently Now
New Glarus - R&D Vintage 2014 (a Gueze, beyond excited. NG has a serious funk profile on their R&D gueze stuff)
Dark Horse - BBA Plead the 5th (2016)
Lil Beaver - CCM (Imperial stout aged in rye barrels w coffee, cinn, mellows and lactose)
Half Acre - Big Hugs w Vanilla
Pollyana w Binny's Bev Depot - BBA Imperial Fun Size Milk Stout (w coconut and almond)
    Revolution - Deth By Plums
Triptych - Sour Peach Meme Shake

All insane, all new, all very exciting. Actually cracked open blind #1 already!

On the nose,....Coffee, vanilla, maybe some cinnamon. Pours way thinner than todays' stouts tho. Its giving me...brown ale vibes. taste gets rid of that coffee idea, replaces it with candy chocolate (which explains the vanilla). Not cinnamon...but some sorta spice. Think Dr. Pepper with a less aggressive carbonation. Have zero real guesses for what it is lol. but broadly, I'm guessing a brown ale with some sort of spices.

Whatttt New Glarus Chocolate Stout??? first, off, whoever knew they did stouts. But also, this is such a non-modern style of stout yet still not old school. Literally feels like what could've started the pastry stout scenario were in now. Definitely candy vibes, but I can't put my finger on which one. Definitely not something I had a lot of growing up. And it contains lactose??? layer and layer of surprise with this one. Would've never guessed stout. V Cool, thanks Jim!!

Also, while i'm here, gots to do a shoutout for my friend @Vidblain . Cause this awesome box landed yesterday:
    Almanac - Peach SourNova
Fair State - FSB 2019 01 (s'mores pastry stout w mallows, graham crackers, cacao nibs, vanilla and honey)
Surly - At the end of the internet
    S6 - Ssippi + Squeeze
    Revolution - Straight Jacket
Fair State - FSB:2019 03 (Macaron Pastry stout w coconut chocolate and vanilla)
Wild Minds Forgotten Barrel Society Glass (using it now. very into it)
Wild Minds - Whoa Jack (Wild ale with Frontenac Grapes. A still ale/wine hybrid. aka a wet dream for me)
Odd Side - Rye Hipster Brunch Stout (2018 I believe)

Also. I had just gotten off a plane. luckily someone finished unpacking, because I had forgotten the not pictured:
Fair State - FSB:2019 02 (Salted Caramel Pastry stout)(I've got all three!)

You two are insanity. I have lots of beer to work with now.

Also, @Vidblain I'm glad you enjoyed the box I sent!!! and happy I was able to send you your first Korean beer. Its a style that for some reason Untappd doesn't even have on it..they just call it rice beer. excited for the day all the really old school grain beers (from asia, latin america, and anywhere else) have their own OG styles out. Anywho, y'all newbs are mean. I just got back!! Too much drinking so close to the end of a trip!

@bstoos Got me with a flat rate today. Lots of beer, tinfoil, and dicks included. I have to admit that wrapping almost all of the cans/bottles for blind tasting is definitely a Savage move and I appreciate the ingenuity. Also spelled out Savage rules of having to drink the blind ones first.

And the beers. I'll get to downing these over the next few days/weeks. Thanks again!

Immediately smell cheesy old aged hops, taste is the same but not malty sweet like I'd expect from an old IPA or DIPA, slightly biscuity but no malt backbone whatsoever, yeasty tasting.
    Very old hoppy kolsch?

Just over a year old citra lager. Great to drink blind because I expected the smell of year old hops to be matched with malty sweetness so that threw me off.

So by noob math, if I’m correct, 6 of our boxes equal 15-18 of yours?

Hey Snatch44, well executed return fire boxes take time to curate. Is your fridge empty where you need some beer asap? We can arrange quick fire too. But most of us are way more methodical than that.
