Right. I haven’t been following the posts too closely but there were a couple I was familiar with as being big time mules. One of which like clockwork posts dozens of cases every weekend from breweries all over the area. I’ve ran into them more than once at releases with a large group of people with them that are clearly not purchasing for themselves. I’ve also missed out on some things when that group has loaded up so it’s kind of a sore subject for me. Needless to say I stopped following these accounts long ago. I’m also sure there are legit beer fans that don’t pull that stuff.

 

Cracked open Lab Daydream. Bit boozy, it's gonna need a week. I didn't get that EQ forward pineapple/peach flavor but I assume it's because of the booziness.

I'm actually really excited about the Pills.

 

I admit I'm fascinated with these people and their lame gimmicks to appear unique on Instagram. In particular, I do like the shoe guy because if he keeps this up, we'll eventually see that belly start to eclipse the frame.

You're insinuating those gimmicky IG people actually drink beer.

 

I really hope there's an Architectural Advocate board somewhere arguing about what a joke my IG feed is. That's how I'll know I've made it.

So how many beers are dropping Saturday? Can someone with time and patience compile an over/under (whatever the hell that is) for each? I'm hoping that because there's nothing important going on this weekend that requires copious amounts of beer that I can swing by and fill a growler with ease for my Sunday evening rituals (weekly beer share, no pigskins thank you).

 

I just thought about how little we've seen of the Short, Dark series this fall and winter and got legitimately pissed off.

 

This is how I feel about Smoke Screens and Oil Slicks

 

Cause their marketing plan is based on the tickers. “Been there ticked that, what’s next?” It’s pretty sad but it’s obviously their business plan. 15 “different” ddh IIPAs, one new 15% pastry stout...

 

Just had a Laurel Laurel. Thought it was strange. Looked like a Pilsner and had the mouthfeel but definitely didn’t taste like one. It wasn’t bad...I enjoyed it...but not your typical Pilsner taste.

 

Not a fan of the Daydream treatment but here we are

Yeah I'm to the point where I am done caring about who is catered to and who is getting more of what. It is what it is and my thoughts have been posted here. I'll be excited when we are back to normal and I can walk in at 2 on Sat and get anything I want. I'll miss something here and there but overall all the classics I can get when they come out and anything else I can get in the taproom.

Was complaining about this last week. I need more!

 

For sure. But I’d take a Short Dark with toasted coconut, Thai coconut, coconut milk and shredded coconut if that’s what’s needed to make it viable
