I had one of the Sure Bet cans over the weekend, and it was terrific. Such a nice break from so many hazy IPAs that are out there. Makes me wonder why so many of us keep going after the newest haze bombs when PW keeps putting beers like this out there.

I'm not sure if this was asked previously, but for someone who has never been to Pipeworks, and is really only interested in barrel-aged beers, what can one expect visiting the Dojo? I've been told they regularly have BA stuff available and do not post about it, but, for example, what could I expect if I went there today?

If you went today..........you'd find a locked door. Open Thursday Friday and Saturday. Only BA that MIGHT be in stock is Abduction. We are all trying to patiently await the next release!

Per the dojo website (https://pdubs.net/dojo) the only barrel aged beer they have in stock right now is barrel aged abduction.

Was there Saturday and yes, The Abduction was there, but there were less than 20 bottles left.

Thanks guys! I was told they didn't post their BA releases anymore, but looks like it's right there on the website. I'll bookmark, keep checking, and follow this thread

You should go get one of those remaining bottles of The Abduction. Top rate BA stout.

They don't post the releases. However, once the beer has been in the dojo for a couple weeks, they'll add it to the listing of whats available to go at the Dojo.

Had some fresh NvU on tap. Amazing as always. Anyone remember the days of waiting in line for bombers of this?

I honestly don’t, but I always had a bottle reserved. Or Binny’s LP usually got plenty.

Bombers of NvU were legendary. In 2012, End of Days was my first PW bomber and from there I was hooked. Very happy both NvU and Lizard King are so dialed in these days.

I was thinking it's been a while for Crimson Snapper, be a great entry to 4 packs.

Agree 100% on it being amazing. NvU was always easy to stock up if you wanted....not sure I ever waited in line or worried about it selling out fast like any of the fish series or barrel aged beers.

In 2012, Pipeworks beers were difficult to obtain. They only distributed to Castle Vav and Beer Temple and were behind the counter, 1 per person. Don't know about NvU lines, but the waxed abductions would create some lines.

I have photos of Pipeworks beer I bought date stamped May and June of 2012 from Binnys. I never waited in a line. They were on the shelves.

I bought Ubiquitous Pale Ale off the shelf of the Schaumburg Binny's in November of 2012.
