    I have never been to Other Half or any brewery in NYC but plan on being there this weekend. If I get in line around noon would they typically still have four packs of the limited release?

    Just trying to grab a four-pack of LAX to JFK and sample some stuff on draft.

    LAX to JFK is probably going to be one of the first to go tomorrow just FYI. I got there last weekend at 10:30-ish and I missed Blowin' Up the Spot so there is a pretty good chance you'll miss it at 12.

    So to anybody that cares (ha), I had homecoming 2020 and then had Lab Daydream today. They're pretty much the same beers, except that Homecoming is slightly sweeter.

    One of them was pretty good at the time, I think the chocolate and chiles one.

    I had a taste of green label cane life 2 the other night in the taproom and it was similar to most the stouts OH puts out lately. It was sweet but the coconut, coffee, and vanilla were all there. I enjoyed it more than some of the recent stouts but it didn't strike me as MUST GET.

    Same, I tried them both before I left today. Both were ok, but I was happy to not have picked up a whole bottle. I didn't think it was as sweet as some stouts which I definitely was happy about.

    I cracked a can of 4am just for you, its good I think its kinda like a lot of the OH ipas with a couple of different hops where you get the general tropical notes but its not smacking you over the head with Galaxy/Citra/Mosaic's distinct flavor. I think its a touch behind Homecoming as the best I've had from these two batches of collabs as far as IPAs go.

    Not up to speed with what’s happening with anything in this thread because I’ve been climbing mountains and chasing lions across the Serengeti #nothumblebrag #fucklactose, but I just wanted to chime in on the FanFam ridicule. Don’t know most of them, but Anthony, the guy behind Stop and Smell the Hops/the Grits n Greens photo is an awesome guy and he definitely drinks beer. I have never seen someone look so lovingly at a meatball sandwich as I did him at Sixpoint after he’d been at OH for a few hours beforehand. His photos are a creative outlet while he works at a pharma company trying to cure cancer.

    Hazegramps would agree if he wasn’t put out to pasture for a while, tending to the tose cows OH has hitched their future to. The hell did they do that for to JFK2LAX or whatever it is?
