Both Bangor Trust Brewing (Bangor PA) and Bucks County Brewery (Pipersville PA), which were previously reported closed, have stated that they intend to reopen in the near future.

But at this point in time both of those breweries are closed?

    Cheers!

That's correct. Compare that to Race Street Brew Works, which announced their closure in December but is still open while it winds down the business.

Looks like Bucks County Brewery posted a cryptic FB message in December:
And then posted a message yesterday
I stopped there once a couple years ago, it was a little weird it was a tiny taproom and we were the only ones there. Beer was just okay. But by their social media, it looks like they drew large crowds with their outdoor music events when weather was nice.

The brewery was sold to new owners about 6 months ago. The working theory is that the new owners had a few stumbles out of the gate. Not sure if that is actually the reason, but glad to see that they seem to have found their footing and retooled for another go at it. You're absolutely right that their outdoor space and events are/were a huge draw in nice weather.

    1) Roe Jan in Hillsdale is officially open as of today. Weds through Sunday hours.

    2) First time I can recall seeing this situation: Wartega Brewing in Brooklyn is packing up and moving operations to Phoenix. Owners wanted to be closer to their family and PHX has a huge beer scene so it makes sense, but still wild to see.

Hoping Roe Jan is solid. My grandparents live in Hillsdale, so would be nice to have a super-local spot to grab some food and fresh brews.

Bad Alfred's Distilling (Chestertown, MD) has just applied for their state brewing license. They already have all their equipment and apparently their federal license.

They did have a number of posts last month on Facebook (which you don't need to have an account to see). I was by there last week and it was all boarded up with a sticker saying they failed inspection. Seems to be a plumbing inspection. Hard to be optimistic about this place opening up any time soon given all of the delays.

Anyone know anything about Seven Tribesmen in Wayne, NJ? Heard it was supposed to open in Q4 2019 but that didn't happen.

New place called Seven Hamlets Brewing slated to open in Westmoreland (3-4 miles off 90 and about 10 minutes from Utica) in Mid-March. Five-barrel system, the taproom looks pretty big, no word on beers or brewer.

What I will say is that also in Westmoreland is Bonomos, the best seasonal ice cream/food stand on god's green Earth. As well as a sweet mini-golf place. Could make a real nice day of Woodland Farm Brewing, Romas for tomato pie, Bagg's Square Brewing (also set to open in the spring), Seven Hamlets, Gold Rush Adventure Golf, and then finishing the day off at Bonomo's for food and ice cream.

Been out of commission for a bit with the flu (do not recommend) but a few new PA places opened recently:

    Acrospire Brewing (Glenshaw)
    Seven Sirens Brewing (Bethlehem)
    Brew Bank Brewing (Ridgway)
    Four Fingers Brewing (Aston)

    And some new satellite locations:

    Breaker Brewing (Archbald)
    Levante Stables (Chester Springs)
Asadero by Mindful Brewing (Scott Twp)
The Den by Sly Fox (Reading) at the Goggleworks Building

Breweries that have announced opening dates:

Bangor Trust Brewing (Bangor) is planning to (re)open 2/27
Pineknotter Brewing (Northumberland) is planning to open 3/6

Have you already announced the new Sly Fox taproom in Malvern, PA (they brand this location as Taphouse at the Grove)?

    Cheers!
