I’m sorry but I don’t think you quite understand how this works. Yes some of those can be had $4$ if you’re trading with a close FRIEND. I gave a friend a Cable Car at cost because I was at Toronado and wasn’t going to buy one for myself. Most trading doesn’t work like that. If you want to acquire rare bottles without “overpaying” cost wise, you need to have something EQUALLY valuable to trade. If you want a BBT3 for instance, you need to trade something like the new Coconut Assassin, which is roughly $4$ and equal value. I would feel bad accepting a beer like that for equal value in hops because it’s basically a steal value wise. Personally I hook my friends up with certain beers but with the extremely rare stuff I either drink them or trade them for beers on my bucket list as that is the only way I’m able to get them

 

I’d be fine with the 700ml version. Appreciate your thoughts on the trade.

 

I have Boiler Brewing's Coconut Killa AF and want to trade for OH cans. How many cans is reasonable to ask for?

 

I'm considering trading down with my VR (OG owner). Is Prop 19, 2 Year and BCBS Rye 3:1 attainable? I really have no clue what 2 year is going for since I'm not seeing much movement on it.

 

I don't know quite what 2-year Reserve is going for either exactly but it's higher than either of the other 2 beers you named. I don't think you'll have much of an issue trading your VR for all 3 of those.

It's definitely been on the decline. BL beers don't trade like they used to and FS had a real strong moment back there. Now it's prob right in line if not a little below FFb2.

 

it’s equal in trade value to BA IGCCS and Maman 19. You could honestly probably get 12-16 for it

 

Might be slightly below Maman '19. Have seen Maman '19 close for Coconut Killer + 2 dawgs bottles and someone trying to close it 1:1 on the Boiler side with no traction.

 

There was a 1:1 for '19 Maman yesterday. I believe the dawgs trade was for '18 Maman.

 

It’s closed for Maman 19 1:1 and BAIGCCS 1:1 a few times recently

 

When did I ever imply that beer should be traded at anything less than equal value? I have a feeling you just skimmed over my comments and didn't really pay attention to anything I said. There's no reason to lose money on a trade. I never even hinted at that. You said you gave an friend a Cable Car at cost because you weren't going to purchase one for yourself? If that's the case, assuming you didn't have a friend who wanted one, wouldn't you be willing to just trade one at equal cost for something you'd enjoy and can't get? That's a pricey example, but it still works. I fail to understand how that point illustrates anything though. I'm not telling anyone how to trade. I'm just sharing an opinion, just like you.

The hops trade was just an example of personal experience, not an expectation. I don't blame anyone for trading something to score a bucket list beer. I would too if it were a fair trade. The only reason I'm on the defensive is because my opinon is being misinterpreted and to a degree, unfairly criticised. I never said anyone should do anything. Everyone has their own individual right to do whatever they want with their beer. Just because I don't agree with profiteering doesn't mean I'm telling anyone what to do.

What value is Modern Times Bovine outline at currently? Probably to early to speculate, but would Beastmaster in old fitz barrels pull it 1:1 or need a plus?

 

Around 300 for Bovine. There are some strong offers that haven't landed Bovine. Probably Pips , Lambics or Theory bottles would be a good FT.

Maye 2 BM old fitz, would pull Bovine. That is if you find someone who has a Bovine, and didn't get Old Fitz yesterday. Of course that'll change if it's as good as Bovine.

Allagash Coolship Bardus. Anyone have any insight? I know it can pull DDG, Cable Car, BA Abraxas, at 1:2 of those, with a good plus or two in favour, but I'm wondering if anyone else has any experience. I'm guessing a Maman ('19?) or Anabasis is too much? St. Lam? How far off, all things considered?

 

If I offered a Maman 19 how many from the Barclay Dimensions set would that get me back in return? Are some of those dimensions set beers valued higher than others or are they all about the same?

 

From what I've seen, it's about 1+ for your Maman. I think all variants are around the same. Only trade I've seen are for adwtd DO 1:1. Hope it helps.

 

Will Prairie Dawgz trade for 2019 Midnight Still and or variants? I know dawgz vary in type but for this query, assume untappd 4.5 or greater.
