Maybe you were underwhelmed because you didn't get a good look at the gold foil stamp on the bottle.

So do we know who first said "Bananversary" as a name for the All 5th Banana, not to totally #humblebrag, but I think I first said it on here that weekend and I hadn't seen it anywhere else at that point, did I start a trend? Am I trendy or just kinda clever when I've had a few beers lol

Good luck to all Sat who are going to go out and brave the madness. Still trying to decide what I am going to do, but hopefully I will run into some of you at some point

The first one of this was okay, nothing amazing. I think my GF has a bottle still. I did think the VIP version tasted a bit better, but both were really sweet.

We are starting the weekend early, for sale now from the taproom.

Cookie Kooks 2 Garbage Cookie Imperial Stout (15.4%) with @omnipollo You know when these guys come thru, you have to go bigger than last year. This time we added even more of everything: cacao nibs, coffee, potato chips, pretzels, Cookie Crisp, Cocoa Puffs, Cocoa Crisps, oats and milk sugar. What we got was an Imperial Stout that has the flavor of chocolate cereal milk. $16 per bottle, 4 bottles per person.

I had the greatest time getting all the #fanfam posts together, and now it's my turn! @beerwithflavor

I can't believe it's been a year since we did this last. I never thought I would be where I'm at today and I'm glad to be part of such an incredible industry! I'm constantly thankful for my acceptance within the craft beer culture and community. Coming from the hotel and restaurant business you tend to focus everything you do around hospitality. I'm proud of my staff and coworkers for building amazing relationships and providing an exceptional experience. I want to thank @kschlaker for using her artistic skills to add that special touch. Keep up your amazing work, I truly appreciate the collaboration.

Time flies when you are having fun and love what you do, just don't forget to breath.

It's pretty good too, but I could see the $22 being the deciding factor in a pass.

Tacky, but only like 10% as tacky as slapping the Kobe name on a beer less than 48hrs before he and his daughter die in a horrific accident.

There is quite a sliding scale for what we should expect in terms of "craft brewery tact."

Naming a beer 'Kobe' so shortly before his death isn't tacky, just very bad timing. Only tacky if they didn't change the name afterward.

Sorry, my mistake. Meant to say "less than 48 hours after," which is what happened.

They announced that that proceeds were going to go to charity... after they had sold out of the beer they slapped Kobe's name on, and after some intense pressure online

God I hope so, at this point that group is 95% complete nonsense and everything wrong with craft beer.

Are these anniversary stouts guaranteed for anyone? Or is all distributed on 2/8 based on first come first serve?

If you’re the proud owner of a big fat *****, then they’ll probably hold them. But the rest of the plebs need to line up 2/8
