Goose Island Bourbon County Stout - Coffee and Cherry Rye '12

I would be endlessly amused if we found out that BreakingBad and PlayaPlaya were the same person. It is like they are having their own little troll contest out near Dekalb, IL.

 

I ran into 3 cases of Coffee today, bombers were $25 a piece. I had to pass at that price. I'll just buy an Intelligentsia espresso to drink with my BCBS, much cheaper.

 

I've been assuming they're the same guy but I'm getting thrown because they're both troll accounts.

 

My wife went into a liquor store and refused to sell her one because the owner said she wasn't a regular customer. What a joke some of these owners are.

Well he's had multiple accounts here and on RB before (BB) and got banned, but I don't think they are the same.

 

How about the far south side. i was on a "list" to get one bottle, ended up getting screwed.
Anyone? Coffee that is...

 

Especially since both accounts were created within a day of each other.

 

I had the pleasure of meeting BB at HopCat a few weeks ago, so I have a visual confirmation that he is a real human being...

 

Well if he is a troll/real dude acting like a troll... continually bringing him up and talking about him is giving him the utmost pleasure right now... just sayin

I saw they had some BCBS Coffee bottles at Haymarket yesterday. If someone is looking to try it and is ok paying bar price (I wasn't going to order it so I didn't ask the cost) it could be an option to split with a friend.

 

I've seen several stores this week get shipments of Coffee but no Cherry Rye. In the city, have there been any sightings this week of more Cherry Rye? Printers Row Wine Shop, or was that sighting from last week?

There's also been a lot of Madame Rose -- at this point, I'm just going to dump some Madame Rose into regular BCS and see what happens.

 

I saw a few Madame Roses sitting around while I was home this weekend as well. Nice to see so much of it around Chicago.

 

I feel like a washed-up mobster... can't keep from getting in the hunt for these beers, even though I really want to be done with the madness of it. ONE. LAST. JOB.

 

That would be really cool.

And yea....This town called dekalb??? Born and raised here. Town of a few thousand people when the college students leave...More cornfields than roads. Never thought I would see the day people would be talking about Dekalb on a internet forum. You know its a small town when I can literally tell you the owner of every major piece of land in the COUNTY.

But yea...Nothin to hide here, I'm still trying to get a tasting/trading session with any Chicago heads....I dont threaten to break peoples jaws. And I do actually respond to BM/PM's..As the 17 people who blew up my inbox in a matter of minutes yesterday can attest to.
