Cosign. Finding that sweet spot today with little line and most cans was not easy. Preciate the comms, fellas.

True, but my point is this could have been done yesterday when they knew the crowd was out of control.

Frank Reynolds method of swooping in for scraps paid off. Aside from 5th and 6th, still have Garnet. Out of everything else aside from Roc beers as of right now (4pm)

Line just went from 5 to 20 deep in a matter of minutes. Moving quick, though.

Just got back w/ a case of 5th and 6th and a split case of First Batch & Smith/Ninth.

Line was short when I got there.

    Thanks for the intel all.

Line @ Garnet is as much of a mess as its namesake. Zing!

Walked in at 4:30 and line was a whole 2 people deep. Been happy with my rule of not buying anything above 8% but broke it for a 4pack of 6th anniversary.

The beer karma gods were in my favor today.

My original intention was to get there like 1pm like previous years. I woke up early accidentally and decided I should maybe try and get *one* of the stouts. Everything seemed to work out good timing wise, I got on the F train as it was arriving and arrived say 9:40. When I was the last person in line, Cam was coming around and telling everyone allotments. I was literally the last person on line just about to Court st and Cam said I would get BA 5th...one of the last ones.

...Suddenly, a guy behind me was like "dude, come around the corner real fast and talk to me". Being a New Yorker I was like "uhhh nahh...go away". He was persistent. Whatever, he seemed friendly enough so I was finally "wtf, what do you want?".

Turns out he had an extra wristband and his wife didn't want to come back today after they got it last night!!!! All he wanted was the BA Banana and a 4-pack of Fourth Anniversary and gave me the band.
It was not a green wristband, but the, white/black checks. I happily took the wristband and walked from Court Street to midway down smith!

BA Banana ran out about less than 10 people behind us...I had it my hands! ....This literally saved me who knows how many hours (3 I bet). The line was slow. 9:45 I was midway down Smith, and then I had a BA Banana in my hands at 12:30. So let's say I waited 3 hours in line. Slowest line ever...

Anyway, wow, literally caught a big break to day and shout out to the rando who I ignored at first, but, gave me a wristband and 3 hours back in my day! Really good dude, and him and his friend made the line go fast.

Relatively speaking, you caught a nice break. You spent 3 hours in line instead of 6, so that’s definitely better.

Can anyone explain why the line was still around Garnet at 130pm today? That’s over 3 hrs after the onsale, and yet they still had almost everything left. That just doesn’t make sense.

I showed up at that time, saw the line and said screw this, got a beer at Folksbier and lunch at an awesome Thai spot on Court St (Boran), came back at about 330 and line was gone and I could have got everything besides the BA stouts. Like there weren’t that many people In line earlier if they still had everything left that late in the day so why did it take so long!?

I was trying to be positive. Personally I’m for waiting in line for zero minutes.

I'm with you 100%, though if it's fairly quiet I'll respect a line.

Everything including regular Banana? I was the last person to get it and got it around 2. Unless they brought out more after that.
