I talked to the cashier and apparently one reason for the delay is that people were rip-roaring wasted by the time they got to the cashier. He said he had one guy re-do his order like three times.

You have my attention with that assessment. It pains me to say that roc beer is better than the anniversary.

Never respect a line at a bar. That’s when societal norms truly start to decompose and “they” win.

Really, how is that possible? Who would think 12 hours of drinking on sidewalk would lead to that ?

I feel like there should be A Curb Your Enthusiasm episode somewhere in there.

Last episode “Artificial Fruit” is epic, watched it 3 times already.

No way that's true, I got on line a little before 10 and I was literally handed a bottle of Bananaversary from the last case. 4th was also sold out before then for sure.

It really was awesome. Leon was the best part as usual.

Does anyone know how much 6th they made? I was going to stop by this afternoon but the oh-so-predictable accident on the Verrazzano added an hour to my drive and I just wanted to get home. I did substitute it with a few square slices from L&B though. If they don’t sell out tn I’ll take the ride over tomorrow morning.

you’re right, 4th anniversary was gone (I didn’t care about getting that anyways) and the banana was gone (again didn’t care about that, had it last year). I guess what I meant was if you were just a person who wanted to try the new shit this year, it was basically all still there at 3pm without waiting in a line at all. Plus as a bonus grabbed Small Galaxy which will probly be more drinkable than anything else.

I think they have the most of the 6th from today's anniversary releases, but not sure how much is left overall.

That's one of the most New York articles I've seen in a while.

I wasn't upset with the 6th at all; it tastes like a slightly sweeter AGE to me; but I don't think any beer would have been worth waiting in that line.

A lot of the Roc beers can be mind-blowing as well, sad people pass them up so often.

This was the first time I’ve appreciated Nelson. Usually IMO, it adds a crappy boozy note but in Double Yellow it’s like an older, refined man’s Forever Simcoe. Lots of pineapple on the sniff, dank on the tip, smooth on the pullout.

@jacksonny @OH_BK_LOCAL I hope you guys understand that you will both be on close FLO watch for the first couple of weeks. Careful not to be too grammatically correct.

I’m friends with rozzom. He’s taking a much needed break. But if you ever see a degenerately drunk looking guy at the bar reading a dog-eared copy of Hustler - then say hi to him.
