Fieldwork Brewing Company Opens Seventh Location

Thanks for the clarification Barry. I got my intel from the owner of one of the top bottle shops in So Cal. Sadly it looks like my Fieldwork consumption will continue to come from Bottlecraft only.

so what is the issue with San Jose and breweries? I've seen it mentioned in other threads that San Jose is terrible to deal with, which sucks because I live there.

 

As i've stated they've already announced that an 8th location will open in the South Bay. I dont know the details of how they are achieving that.

 

Per this Interview with Allthingsbeer 510, "We tried going to Mountain View, Campbell, Palo Alto. We Tried, Penninsula San Jose. The areas don't want to work with you...."

 

In the same interview, they did say they only had 1 more after San Ramon which is Corte Madera. But when they announced Corte Madera they said South Bay will be getting one in 2020, so somehow they are opening an 8th.

 

Can you add a swimming pool to your 8th location? Please. That would be swell.

 

Per a response to that question on Facebook just under a week ago:

That was on a thread about the new Corte Madera location, so I'm assuming via context they plan to re-license CM under a new license to brew, freeing up that last duplicate license (attached to the master Berkeley license) for San Jose.

This story from September also references a plan to have a pilot system at Corte Madera, as well as plans to open two more locations in 2021, which would explain the desire to re-license that location since I'd assume it gives them a new set of duplicate licenses to play with.

DDH PULP hitting my from porch 3-5 days from now ! Pulp has always been one of my favorite Citra hopped singles and I've never had a chance to grab cans of the DDH version,$20 per 4pk is a steal, 12 can max.
