Split cans of 4th and 6th tonight and I think 6th deserves more praise than its getting. I like it as much, if not more, than 4th. Just tastes a little more smooth/rounded whereas 4th is still a punch in the mouth. Kind of regret not following in my tradition and maxing out on it.

I think I basically agree with the tasting note (I'm too lazy, but I think I wrote about it being "sharper"). I think that zing though isn't as present in a lot of other half stuff, especially with lactose, so honestly it may just be a nice departure that makes 4 a bit more interesting than 6. Maybe it's the enigma? But yeah I'm not unhappy with the few 4 packs I got, but would've been nice if I had time Sunday to have gone instead and avoid a line though, since I'm not so sure it was worth the tolls and time versus some easy local options for me personally.

Cans of Double Citra Daydream at Haymaker.

I presume the answer is going to be yes but can anyone confirm if they charge tax on the cans? Thanks.

Pretty sure the tax is just baked into the cost, there is no way they can sell it without charging tax.

Drinking my second/last can of 6th, interesting melon notes coming through, but there's a prominent alcohol thread that explodes in the finish. They've made waaaaay better triples if we're judging it only against that metric, but in the whole canon of OH IPA's, I'm not confident this would rank well.

FWIW I just finished some spicy tantan-men, but I doubt this tasting experience is food related.

The Green City I bought was $18. Does it cost $16 at the brewery?

Snagged the stout tonight and am sipping it as we speak.

It's nice, though none of the adjuncts come through in a big way initially, but I'm getting more vanilla on the finish as it warms. There's a bit of an acidic roastiness but the beer is smooth and considerably less sweet than most of their stouts lately. It drinks very similar to Sumi Snow by Grimm with a bit more barrel and body as well as some of the added flavors.

Edit: Between the added vanilla and the barrel, I get a nice marshmallow note on this.

I swear to Hop Showers, if anyone brings this up to Haymaker management we will have a serious bone to pick.
