So here's the deal. The problem I'm having with Revolution right now is that they are totally killing my desire to hold onto verticals of anything. I've got a couple bombers from older DT, SJ, and Ryeway releases, but with all the improvements in quality year over year, now I just look at them and shrug. Hell, at this point, I still have too many cans left of the January 2019 batch of SJ, but why bother when 2019b2 was so fabulous? An embarrassment of riches.

    :grimacing:

My guess is the VSOJ cans are used for some sort of charity fundraiser or something like that. Seems like it would be the smart way to go...if it's some sort of general release to the public, it would be too much of a mess.

Post says couple of cans (2 cans?), as opposed to couple of 4 packs or pallets. Doubt the couple of cans are just going to be sold. Agreed charity event sounds like the best idea.

I honestly hope it's literally 2 cans.

They should hide the cans around the brewery and brewpub, then make it known to the public that it's a live scavenger hunt. That shit would be hilarious.

And also make everyone sign wavers so that they can't be sued when someone loses a limb in the ensuing bloodbath

Shoot, since we have to sign waivers, they should hang them from the ceiling in the receiving area.

Full on WWE ladder match where a mass of neckbeards, who clearly bought those brewery shirts 45 pounds ago, have to duke it out, and climb the ladder(s) to claim their prize.

A Hunger Games style event where we lose a number of shitlords from the Chicago beer scene? I could get behind this.

In order to speak, you must be holding the can of VSOJ.

You must first conquer a maze containing a roaming bloodthirsty minotaur. Once you reach the center and ask for your "2 cans" they hand you a pair of tucans one on each hand before the floor drops out and you waterslide into Lake Michigan with your avian allocation.

Good appearance by @BeerCruncher on the Beer Temple IG story yesterday playing the beer guessing game. Sloooow and steady won the race for him. Well done!

First one I've seen that they had to edit like that, but definitely well done. That's a tough game.

Ha, thanks dudes. It's definitely embarrassing to have been that slow, but I really wanted to get it and in the heat of the moment I had no idea just how slow I was being. Kind of like that golfer that takes 10 warm-up swings and has no idea he's holding up the entire group. Now that the monkey is off my back, I'll go much faster next time. It's a great game and cool content idea for the bar/shop.

Also, I posted an even further edited down version on my IG cutting 2 more minutes off.

Stopped by and finally had a pour of cuvee. First of all, pretty awesome these beers stick around so long at the taproom.

Cuvee I thought was excellent, maybe better than X Year, and one of my favorites of the Deep Woods this year.
