I found one 4-pack along my regular routes in Louisville, one more than I got last year. I don't get out to the big Total Wine type places that much, but remember a shelf full a month after it came out two years back, and cases at Kroger. Seems to come and go much quicker now, at least around here.

Horse Piss was actually Bluegrass, not Falls City.

I don't think I've ever had their stuff... but I've heard good things about Hipster Repellent. One of those beers I keep meaning to get around to trying.

AtG has a bba stout with amburana wood on right now that tastes like straight toasted coconut. Not my.jam really but for folks who are into that it really tastes like some kind of chocolate/coconut macaroon.

Oh, I've been tasked with delivering a 3L Fiftyfifty magnum to Baba Day this year. Bring a long straw.

    A few things:

    1) Brew Bridge got their federal license, should be open in March.
    2) Hometown Brewing got their state license.
    3) I've heard rumors that Mile Wide may be opening a second location in Owensboro, no idea if that is true or not, but it came from a fairly reliable source.
    4) Dreaming Creek closed their London location. I never got to make it out there, anyone know what it was like?

Mirror Twin has a can drop today. Super limited Nutty Bar cans, plus other stuff. I'm interested in Citra Monster as well.

Nutty Bar beer is spot on. Citra Monster is good enough I'm seeking Tree House beers to compare SBS.

One of my buddies was saying that Gallant Fox is supposed to be opening March 1st. I believe they've had some delays in the past but it looks like they're closer to opening this time.

They've announced an opening date several times already... we'll see what happens. I'm sure they'll open at some point, but I really don't know when.

When it comes to Louisville breweries ...

Besides Akasha, Mile wide...any other recommendations? Legitimately asking for a friend

Bottle shops, bars etc are welcome as well

Holy Grale is the best beer bar in the city. I really like Monnik brewing, they do a good pils and have awesome food. Several of the Liquor Barns have a decent selection but they're like a total wine style place, if your friend want's a really good bottle shop they should drive across the river to the Keg Liquors in Clarksville, IN.

Monnik and against the grain are the best in my opinion. Akasha has gotten real gimmicky.
Holy grale is a great beer bar and Sergio's has an insane selection of European beers (do not buy us beer there)

I'm also a fan of Against the Grain. Gravely is a good one too.

False Idol is Louisville's newest brewery, haven't been yet, but it's been strongly recommended by a friend of mine.

A lot of spots have been covered, but a great underrated brewery out in the suburbs is Holsopple. They've got IMO the most reliably solid year-round NEIPA in town (Obscured), and if your friend is in town this week, their anniversary BA stout is being released. Right down the street is a good bottle shop, Westport Whiskey and Wine. Not a huge place, but they seem to always have some gems and store pick bourbon (if they're into that sort of thing).

Is false idol the one that is in the vegan restaurant?
I tried to make it to that one last time I was in town but it didn't work with my schedule

Stopped by Holsopple this afternoon and the stout is top notch. Definitely worth the visit.
