Hubbard's Cave Chocolate & Strawberry Pot De Crème Imperial Stout, 12% ABV. Pours black and thick with a slight brown head that left some lacing. The end of the pour was chocolate syrup. Nose is chocolate and light strawberry. Taste is sweet chocolate and tart strawberry. Excellent mouthfeel, overall outstanding, but not quite as good as the base Chocolate Pot De Crème.

I've been really fortunate to find fresh Two Hearted around here lately. This 1/28 canning has a delicious grapefruit flavor that totally disappears after a month or so..

It’s a Saturday day off for me, I haven’t had a beer yet, we’ve been cleaning the basement for the last six hours, and it’s nice enough out now to have a cigar while grilling a pork tenderloin? Yeah, time for an English Old Ale that’s almost 17 % ABV.

There’s always debate about the greatest drummer on this thread., and I know these guys are just messing around on this track. But Carey, Copeland, and Peart together? Uh, yes please!

 

Busy day; four funerals, three removals. Shower complete.

Beer time. Starting with a helles from Bruery. Excellent stuff.
