    Enjoyed the pseudo-play by play here. It’s funny how a classic can bring one back, even to the pint (ha: edit to ‘point’) of, “What the fuck else am I looking for?”

    Just started seeing them locally. NY done gone crazy with new breweries. Buffalo has like another 8 or so. Froth? I can’t keep up. Anywhooo. Beer!

    Glad you liked that one. One of our newest breweries and the one with the most potential. The former head brewers of Überbrew here in Billings and Blacktooth Brewing in Sheridan, WY are the ones that started it. Both have won small brewer of the year at GABF. Still dialing in all the new equipment but very excited as to what the future holds.

    It truly did turn out well...nearly totally improvised...some fresh squeezed lime juice and a dollop of sour cream adds some character...perhaps some green onions as a garnish to go with the sour cream...

    Slow-Cooker Goat
    • 2-3# goat meat
    • 2 cups broth (used vegetable first time)
    • 4 small potatoes, quartered
    • 3-4 large carrots, cut into small pieces
    • 14.5oz crushed tomato
    • Large onion
    • 1 serrano pepper
    • 1 habanero pepper
    • 2-3 garlic cloves
    • small jar 505 Hatch green chili (medium)
    • Paprika
    • Coriander (ground)
    • Oregano
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    Step 1: brown goat meat with smoked paprika

    Step 2: Cut up serrano and habanero and mince garlic, sautee in pan after goat is browned

    Step 3: Add potatoes to slow cooker, add broth, then goat meat

    Step 4: Add crushed tomatoes, carrots, and Hatch green chili

    Step 5: Slow cook on LOW for 7-8 hours, remove meat bones (if any)
