This is an extremely ambitious, but potentially awesome plan. I will respectfully disagree with my learned colleagues, & advise that you hit Trillium @ Fort Point first, as it is closer to Logan, & opens earlier (11AM). Tree House opens @ 12, & wait times are a significantly bigger issue @ TH.

You could also go completely outside the box, & post this to social media to see if you can get free transportation/beer/PR? Probably not.

As far as the weight overage goes, you could drug mule the extra cans.

Have you made the trip? I would love to know how you made out.

    No, 3/10 is the date.

I commend the OP on his ambition for making this trip. I too will be interested in learning how the it goes.

Since you probably already purchased plane tickets, arranged to rent a car for when you get here, my advice may be useless, but there are alternatives.

Establish a trading partner. This way, you get regular packages in the mail. Maybe this is hard to do these days, I have no idea. But there must be some stuff in Michigan a New Englander would happily trade for. Or not? No idea.

Assuming the OP and his friends have vacation time, they could also plan a trip and drive to Massachusetts. They could return home with cases and cases of beer without much trouble.

    Final Results:

Ended up getting the flight round trip for $116.00. A friend rented the car through work so we didn't have to pay for that. Came back with close to two cases combined from both breweries. I checked one bag for $30.00 and my friend took the other to check as he was allowed to check two for free (his own and my extra). After getting the luggage on the return flight, we had zero casualties.

Overall, it was a fun trip, and a very long day.
