I've always liked the clear St Thomas more than the hazy one.

Isn't Viking a little later, usually? I still have some of last year's either way.

Personally I'm happy to see Tundra back for beer week rather than just Destroyer of Galaxies or All the Pulp.

Viking's was during SFBW last year... I remember scooping up some cans in a trade around that time

@allthingsbeer510 this is just the first release, beer week hasn’t even started yet. Barrel aged beers are coming later once we get our new bottling line dialed in

@allthingsbeer510 good news is once we have the line up and running we should be able to get more barrel aged beer packaged more frequently. Probably just barrel aged sour this week though.

great news that they are coming! bad news it’s only sours right now.
while i dig some of their sours, 9%+ isn’t really my favorite :/

    thanks for sharing!

Anyone try Boss of the Plains and Megachron yet? I’m on the fence about pulling the trigger on a few cans. I seem to remember having had Boss if the Plains before but I can’t keep track.

I really enjoyed BotP last batch, one of their 'tier 1' West Coast recipes for my palate and preferences. Liked it enough to grab a 6er. Taking a 'flyer' on Megachron for 2 cans just based in their description of the recipe.

Haven't tried cans yet, but BotP is tasting great on draft. Saw it grabbed a Bronze in the LA IPA Fest too. Solid brew for my palate and preferences for sure.

If you follow Alex Tweet on Instagram, he posted on his story today that he was selecting barrels to blend for VL. So, it’s coming

Fieldwork 4pk can release this past weekend - looks like Saint Thomas O.G. is out now, but they still have packs of hazy Dreaming in Neon and Farthingale imperial stout.

Dropped by the Sac room yesterday. Walked up, the door is locked with instructions to place an online order and they'll slide it outside. Which was a little odd, I couldn't even write down an order and hand them my cc. So there I am standing directly in front of their locked front door on my phone placing an online order.

Digressing, it was a very welcome Thursday triple can release - Saturdays are much more difficult for me to make it over. The Stickiness - really like this one, super tropical and creamy. Quiet Harbors - solid, very fresh, more hybrid IPA style. Farthingale - cardamom stout. Super intense cardamom - like too much. One glass is ok, second was a chore.

A neighbor and I split a Fieldwork delivery today and I really have to give them props on how well it went. I placed the order on their site at 3:50PM and the beer was at my door at 5:02PM. The FW employee was very good about safe distancing, which made me feel very comfortable. This is in Berkeley.

Grabbed a four pack each of Casa de Citra, The Stickiness, Quiet Harbors, and Logic Gate. Good stuff, Fieldwork! Very happy to be able to support them during these tough times!

I haven't had fieldwork for a while now but decided to pick up a 4pk of the stickiness. Does anyone else think the burn on this beer is ridiculous? I'm kinda shocked they even released it. I'm fine with bitterness, this isn't that, this is straight up burn, it literally scorches your throat.
