I’m going to regret asking this but what time did the early entrance queue start forming at last year?

15 cans, 3 bottles for sale today. Is that a new record?
I’m putting my chair out the night before.

I am a big fan of Infinity + One which the SC released one tastes like so no surprise I like that one. Will try the OH one again hopefully it evolves to something I like.

Last year I got there at 1015ish and was probably in the first 8 people. Unlike the anniversary release, the line is processed quite quickly and you aren't out much time at all if you're further back.

Can anyone report on the status of Vapor Ringz cans? Any thoughts on whether they'll last until tomorrow?

The number of weeks El Camino Misfires has been on the board has to be a new record. Bout time to pour that Berliner into the Gowanus Canal.

To beat a dead horse, I had my second can of 6th anniversary yesterday and change my rating from 'not great' to 'pretty bad.' I actually dumped it out. I can't be wasting my blood alcohol content on a 10% that I'm not enjoying.

Ouch, I wouldn't peg it that low, but it's not blowing other well made triples out the water like their doubles often do. Outside AGE and 4th though I guess I can't think of any that do stand out, that I've had anyway. Given my increasing age and responsibilities definitely will avoid making any big effort for their triples barring positive reviews ahead of time. That said it avoids some of the over the top sweetness I've had from Tired Hands triples which is a plus when you've bought 2 four packs, unless that's your thing.

Had another one today, might have been a bit harsh in my original post, tasting better today. So far this batch of DDH Mylar is a bit below par for this beer. Hope it gets better.

I see a bunch of complaints about the cans in recent weeks. Have any cans stood out as better-than-usual OH fare in the past few weeks?

I missed Mylar sadly for the millionth time, but if THAT isn't holding up, I can't say they've got much going other than 4th from anniversary to now that's worthy of any (vomits in mouth) HYPE. I am expecting a good release post pastry town sans lactose with classics/HDHC classic DIPAs. That said this board hates lactose outside of vapor ringz (maybe that is kicking butt? It's been good in the past....) so perhaps this board not the best determinant necessarily of their quality if you don't share the hardline stance on lactose?

I like lactose in small doses, but I'm more hesitant to spend $$$$ on a four than usual unless it's something I know I love.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll remember Mylar (love previous iterations) and Vapor.

OH being Bernie this couple of weeks.

I'll meet these ladies half way, half and half in my coffee, none in my beer!

See they have the most new/unique beers added this past year, and yet by in large their best tend to be the classics anyway. I guess that's really the take-home. One thing I do particularly like about tired hands is often whatever they release, particularly milkshakes I'll grant you, are on draft, so you can try before you buy. At Other Half that's a no-go, but the hell am I to make of like 3/4 of their output? Will I like their triple IPA tribute to "street meat with the green sauce?" Maybe, or maybe I should just buy some Wrench and save the tolls and trip. Sorry, not trying to be negative...ACE and SD are damned amazing. But as I get busier and older and crankier and care even less about ticking I just want good beer I can rely on. Not gamble on a $20 four pack which may be only slightly better than plenty of shelf beers or local brewery options. That said if you live in NYC and they're not a hassle I myself wouldn't complain about the output.

I don't see the 6th hate to the point of dumping it, I like sabro notes.

I slowly sip the thing over 90 mins with 3oz pours into a snifter with the can sitting in a yeti koozie. The beer stays chilled and you don't have to get up during your movie.

PS buy another brand vacuum koozie for triple drinking bc the yeti one is overkill and you'll save 20 bucks, but I got mine as a gift.

Yeah.. nothing has been so glaringly bad lately. 6th anni improved (but prior anniversaries brews have been better). Mo Galaxy was great. Double Citra started slow and improved over a few weeks. This Mylar is very good but not it’s typical amazing. That’s the problem with OH. They knock it out of the park with hops so often that when things are slightly sub par it seems worse than it is.
