I picked one up at Liquor Barrel in Golden Valley last night.

For you Surly fans that loved Dots and Loops, 6-packs are on what I'm assuming clearance right now for $4.49 at Costco. That's about 75¢/can before taxes right there!
While you're there, Axe Man is running around $13.50/4-pack if memory serves.

 

Any ba darkness still around st paul/ne metro? I've been striking out looking for it.

 

Plenty at Marshall liquors as of Thursday. Not sure if it's still there, but worth checking.

 

$19.99 at every Costco in town and nearly a full pallet of it at each.

 

Was in maplewood so I stopped by the cub where they had a bunch of ba darkness. Even heritage said yesterday that they werent getting any this year so I figured it would be a little harder to find. Go figure. Thanks for the replies!

Some years absolutely.

This year, kind of.

We had Darkness / BA Darkness on successive nights & agreed that given the choice, we'd take the regular. Which is excellent this year, as is the BA, the barrel aging just didn't add a lot IMHO.

 

Fair enough, to each thier own. I kind of had the opposite experience. Thought the rye integrated seamlessly with this year's aggressively hopped darkness and while I enjoy a bit of heat usually, this was smooth without being overly sweet. Headed to costco tomorrow.

 

People should check out Top 10 Liquors today, Sunday March 8 (Chanhassen and I assume their other locations). They have 50% off mix 6-packs. Those 6-packs can include any single, be it can, bottle, crowler, 500ml, or 750ml vessels. BA Darkness is not eligible.

 

Is the Bruery 12 Drummers coming to the Twin Cities? Haven't seen it and thought would have been here by now.
