I mean, they are "hand selected" coffee beans. Since coffee beans are traditionally picked by hand I don't know that that means anything. That being said, coffee like noses are best when hand picked...

I’m just happy to be finally getting a “non-adjunct“ version of a coffee porter from them

I was thinking the exact same thing. I have loved every Pressed so far but am very excited to try it without any adjuncts.

Yeah, I'm sure it'll be good, but I'm not driving out to LZ for it! I'll see if I can score some at the local stores instead.

Was at a Binny’s when this weeks P3 delivery came in. One case of each Pixel Density and Symphonic Flight.

Oh yeah, same here. Any P3 for me is just a “if I make it to my store in time cool, if not, oh well” type thing.

2 cases? Were you at the Binny's in the forest preserve?

I had a Pixel Density last night and at a few weeks old it was terrific. However, if this is going to be a near monthly release, I really would love to see them start date coding. Hasn't been necessary to this point but it will be with a flagship

Not anymore! Just moved to the city this past weekend...time to update the profile. But I also have made many trips to the far west burbs (Batavia).

Pixel Density is delicious. Symphonic was disappointing, especially at the price point. Will never purchase again.

How much did you pay? I paid $13.99 for the 4 pack. I haven’t cracked one open yet so can’t say if it is disappointing or not.

having one right now and I think it’s crushable and refreshing. But it’s on the lighter side for flavors compared to Pixel

New beer this week: Trio of Stars

This 7.7% Double IPA features a trio of all-star hops: Citra, Galaxy, and Mosaic. A smooth and creamy base let the complex flavors and aromas of the hops excite the olfactory system with an abundance of mixed fruit, dankness and fresh greens aromatics.

Finally tried Contoured View after giving it the legally obligated waiting period before trying any P3 IPAs. Definitely good, one of the few P3 IPAs I've tried that I would seek out to try again. The hop combo produced some really unique flavors, almost like a banana-pina-colada type flavor.
