Off topic but had a prairie weekend last night. It's the best marshmallow coconut stout I've ever had.

Again, I’m the one that posted here after seeing it. The guy in the front of the line told me he got their around 11. You posted at 10am. Geriz threw 30 people in the Gowanus too?

I talked to Cory this morning at OH. He said the Brooklyn Vibes he’s bringing was brewed at SP month ago at SP invitational with OH. I assume he’s returning the favor today.

also assume it will be BA beer you might not see till next Pastrytown.

I got a wristband, why do I need to come back at 4 if they start selling at 5 in sequential number order is the question...(obviously need to be there for when my number is called though)

I assume it’s so they have enough time before 5 to line everyone up.

The line is reallllly slow. I was about number 70 in line (thankfully I grabbed a wristband during lunch). It took me about 1 hour to get my beer.

I left at 6:30 and the line was still long, just barely into the 100s. I overheard them saying as I was leaving everyone on line (all together 250+ people) would get a Cookie box.

    OH hates Bridge and Tunnel!

    Wristbands work.

On this topic: I'm surprised at the lack of overlap between the glassware/heady glass scene. There are only a few notable glassblowers that make beer glassware. There are a lot of guys that make very ornate goblets, but nothing you'd ever want to actually put liquid into out of fear of breakage.

Had the fleeting idea of tracking down an AK Krunk mug one time, then I saw what the seller was asking for and sobered up REAL quick.

Currently sipping on Napa Parabola, which is fucking incredible, and it made me nostalgic for IAL Red Wine. I haven’t had that beer since OH year 1 but I still vividly remember the taste. I know they put it in bottles a few years ago but I never got over there. You guys think we’ll ever see that beer again? I’ve actually never even had the base IAL.

I wish I took a picture of the amount of sugar (from the red wine barrels, not oreos or gobstoppers) that was caked around the mouth of the growler after I finished it.

Man, +1. Red wine barrel stouts are so good. I don't understand why there aren't more. Too much competition for barrels?
