C'mon, guys, FOCUS! Focus on the beer...
Did you not just read that Wigsplitter is in 6 packs? How awesome is that? FFF has been making me very happy over the last year.

    Dark Lord sixers are next.

DL variant sixers at the fest!

It is pretty amazing. Seems like every month there is a new format for a beer that was previously in bombers.

Wigsplitter was amazing until Crack the Sky killed it for me...

I'm afraid that the pure concentrated evil of a Bigglelswage/Temeculan or Oscuro/Turtledogg type variant might melt thru the can.

Waxed cans are such a brilliant idea! They should dip the whole freaking can in wax, Then sell a Dark Lord day chisel on a lanyard for 50 bucks.

Oh dang, this belongs in the other thread.

North coast Berliner for the win. Open fermented 4 packs for 8.99. Can’t beat that

I picked up a four pack of APW when they first came out and they were awesome. Stumbled across another yesterday and picked it up. Six weeks out and there’s a ton of floaties and the bottom of a full bottle looks like a saison.

I love Zombie Dust, but if it’s not less than a month old, it’s not very good, and it’s a shell of what it is fresh.

Shame that APW seems to be exactly the same.

ehhh I dunno. I remember first going to the brewpub 5-6 years ago and immediately ordering a ZD. My SO got a space station middle finger. When we tasted ours, I thought our server switched them up. The SSMF was 10x more flavorful and just overall a more enjoyable beer.

but maybe that’s just me. Even as fresh as possible, it’s still just an alright beer.

The barrel-aged Behemoth that’s on draft at the brew-pub... is that still the 2018 vintage, or have they release one since?

2018 appears to be the most recent vintage on Untappd (for the barrel aged version).

Fairly certain it’s 2019 because they ran out at the kiosk for a brief period. And FFF typically labels older vintages as such on their menus.

I’ve never known bottled APW to not have floaters. It still tastes great.

First couple times I had APW(about 10 years ago) the bombers I bought had floaters, and like the above poster, I thought it tasted great. The majority of bottles I've had since then didn't have floaters. Floaters or no floaters, still a great beer.

As if this hadn’t been anticipated, the brewpub, carry out and distillery are closed until further notice.
