This was fully my intention in Boulder yesterday until I got rear-ended, and I lost the location of the truck

Yea, if people are truly are following around trucks they are taking this to another, truly pathetic level.

I am lucky enough to have my team work out of DC, so while early mornings suck, 3 MST = 5 EST and i dont work late on fridays. Good luck to everyone. Sounds like round three is hitting tomorrow with some shops in south denver.

Would love a Fou Foune too. But I am fairly content with the Classic, Gilloise and Kriek I picked up today.

Looks like Mile High has come and gone... Fou, St. Gil and St. Lam

Apparently Mile High sold their allotment before announcing it. Tis a shame too, first time I've heard of them doing that.

I don't drink Belgian sours very often but when I do, I prefer De Cam.

Yeah, I called them on Wed. and they had no idea that Cantillon was dropping. I watched their facebook both days, pretty lame change of policy.

Baller bottles like these go to the guys who spend big $$$ at these stores and I have no issue with that. If you are loyal to one store and drop big coin there then you should get first crack at these special releases. It is how business works.

I don't know what I'd do if some dude(tte) came into the store saying he watched the truck unload in back. First, it takes a while to get deliveries into the system. Second, my laughter might prolong this process. Third, if they're that persistent, then I'd probably take my sweet time :sunglasses: as there are other things to do

Baller bottles like these go to whoever is there when the shipments come in. Out of the ~15 stores I've talked to that got these, only Boulder Wine Merchant said they were all pre-allocated to regulars. All the others said first come first serve.

I think this thread is a pretty clear indication that Zwanze day is going to be nerds gone wild. Will we see a fistfight over Cantillon?

    God I hope so.:sunglasses:

Or...OR...we can all just go in on a box from Être, and end up with more choice at the same cost. Seriously, someone with means (read: not me) should start an ongoing "put-in-for-your-être-order" thread.

I'll take 2 Lou Pepe. Thanks.

Isn't it enough that you animals have ruined Cantillon for people in Denver? Must the rest of the world suffer now too?

I actually came in here to post that. I've had 2 chances to buy Fou' Foune online this fall and passed. Did it last summer though and lucked out on an '11 FF. I've ordered twice now from Belgium, so if any of you are serious, I'd ALWAYS be up for going in on a box from Belgium. It's only about $5 more per bottle than if you bought it here in the states. Only problem is it's typically 1 FF (or Mamouche or "enter rare beer here") per order.
