Hello Left Coaster beer lovers! my friends and I are taking on the task of drinking each of the top 250 beers as ranked on this site. As part of our goal we have a yearly goal we are each assigned. Part of my mission this year is to acquire Notorious Triple for us from Boneyard. I did a internet search to try to figure out its release but couldn’t find anything. Wondering if you all could enlighten me as to when it will be made available? thanks In advance!
It's on at Imperial right now - I haven't been in a while but they at least used to have a machine to bottle and cap beers on tap so that might be a good route for you if you find a trading partner.
It’s also on at the brewery. Not sure how fresh that batch is, but they do crowlers, so I would assume they would fill one.
You lucked out on this assignment, it’s available year round and distributed around the state. Brewery will fill crowlers, not sure about 64oz but I don’t remember there being a restriction.
In the past, I know you could get a growler fill at the brewery, but that may have changed. I was told a year or so back at Growler Guys that the brewery had requested that taphouses not do growler fills. Even so, there were still places in town that would do a growler fill for you. My guess is that's still the case now as well.
I don't know, there's a disconnect between your mission and your avatar. Somehow I can't see Normie drinking a Notorious. Or any of the other Top 250 for that matter. But hey, maybe in a new updated version of Cheers, they all have turned into Beer Advocate nerds?
FWIW, "Norm" rolled into a local-to-me brewery (that I happen to be very familiar with) a few years ago, got lunch, and indeed, drank a couple of the house IPAs.
By the way, @JLK7299, here in the NW, we hijack threads all the time. Hope you got all the info on Notorious you were looking for.
Other than the juicy, all those other HF beers are available out here periodically. So that might be part of the problem. So maybe offer something else? If you strike out in the trade forums, shoot me a beer mail. I'm sure we can work something out.
