Only 1 tosing (if the quoted descriptions are accurate)!

Decent lineup, but as the mercury climbed today I was feeling kind of morose that we're swiftly exiting (traditional) stout season and there were, by my count, just two stout releases that weren't massive pastry bombs (Darkness Descends and SD&H w/coconut, which came out in October and November, respectively). Really hope we get one more Short Dark release (hopefully Wired)!

Another galaxy plus something else IPA, bring back Space Diamonds.

    Make All Galaxy Again...

I will still buy this though.

I can officially confirm that this batch of DDH Mylar is getting better, but definitely short of best batches as of now. DDH ACE off a bit according to expert palates, the sky may be falling above Other Half.

DDH Double Red Chroma tasting very nice now. I have more of these and DDH ACE, maybe I do a blind taste taste at end of week, results could be blasphemous.

I did one with triple Mosaic and triple Orange. I liked Mosaic better.

Hey get on the candy bandwagon, if not sorry. They can charge 5x the price if they max out their Costco credit card on a pallets of cadberry eggs and let it sit on them for 2 weeks.

Happy Easter, Jesus died of diabetes!

Sorry for messing up the spelling, those things are gross, but mini eggs are the best Easter candy. They're m&m's on HGH!

Any keg email go out? Should we be expecting a mid week release of anything? I guess space diamonds is out given the weekend release, and mylar/ace/age were just released, so they're out. Maybe hop showers?

What is the over/under for Pastrytown attendees who contracted COVID-19? I’d put a nice bet that it’s lower than people who contracted diabetes.

Quiet Space was cloyingly sweet. Not that this should be a surprise these days.

Interesting to see a growing number of people here mentioning how OH IPAs have become overly sweet. I don’t have every batch of everything by any means but have enough to notice a significant shift in their overall sweetness level across their hoppy beers. It doesn’t just apply to new ‘tose beers, even regular core classics I’ve noticed have changed. I grabbed some of the most recent Mylar and while I’d say it’s pretty good, it’s completely different than it was even a year ago. The triplets have become in my opinion borderline undrinkable, unless you just want a sweet creamy mess of a beer.

Why would they make these changes? I feel like I’ve seen people rant about Trillium changing their fermentation profile and hating it now, perhaps this is something similar?

Have to agree that even the non-tosed & non-triple ipas I’ve had over the past couple months have been overly sweet to my palate. Don’t have a long history of drinking OH beers to call upon for reference; thought it was just me, but seems maybe not.

As to the tose and triple ipas = pastry hop town.

I like Triple Orange better, it wasn't as sweet as most OH triples. I got a 4 b/c my buddy asked me for it and he gave me a can to open. I enjoyed it.

Hop Showers, but I assume that is the can that was sort of silently thrown into the mix Friday last week.
