Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts, and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness, minimal lingering hop astringency. Nicely soft and not overly aggressive, minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Awesome Galaxy, Amarillo, Falconers Flight profile. Very vibrant, juicy, dank, and earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Very impressive as expected of ET. 4.13

I am planning on learning part of this song today, sounds like a lot of fun to play. They have the whole album tuned in C#, which is basically standard minus 1.5 steps for the whole deal. All of their more recent in the last 13 years albums are the same tuning.

This video also reminds me I need to buy a PRS 6 string.

 

DUBCo Bourbon Barrel Aged Abuse of Stout. First review. Fantastic stuff. Lasting rocky head retention/soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, honey, caramel, brown sugar, molasses, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, coconut, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread/crust; with lighter notes of dark fruits, roasted nuts, smoke, oak char, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light hop/char bitterness and bourbon/oak spiciness on the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitter/tannins. Medium carbonation and fairly full body; with a very smooth, creamy, silky, velvety, and lightly slick/sticky/chalky/tannic mouthfeel. Mild increasing warmth of 12% after the finish, with minimal lingering barrel booze after the finish. Dangerously smooth/soft sipping. Not overly bitter/tannic. Fantastic balanced rich malts, honey, cocoa nibs, vanilla and barrel presence/integration. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. 4.28
