Could honestly care less about the Magnify collab, IMO Magnify doesn't do anything I would go out of my way for. Maybe it will be good because Kane was involved and it was done in Ocean, but fuck it just give me Coconut Port Omna and I will buy a case if I can.

    PO Variants.. POV? 10AM saturday.

First is a 11% blend with bourbon and maple-syrup BA stouts -$22/4pk half case limit

Second is a Chocolate Peppermint Milk Stout - 9.6% - $20/4 half case limit

$22 a 4 is too much for me from Kane, they can do better IMO. MAYBE I would ask someone to get me a 4 or split one to try that, b/c the BA one sounds good, BUT its not even Port Omna at that point anymore IMO.

The Peppermint one was AWFUL last year IMO, it tasted like I brushed my teeth while drinking a beer, I was not a fan. I hope they have some one-offs on tap again or something liek they did last year, the PB one was better than any can last year IMO. But PO has gone off the deep end, they need to go back to its routes with their variants

    While yeah a $22/4pk is a lot. It's still 64oz of a BA blend that's over 11%. We'd be paying $16-18 of it were a 500-750ml bottle...in the grand scheme of things, I guess it's not terrible?

But yeah,I don't have interest in these beers.

It’s an 11% blend with BA stouts though. They could have bottled it, look at it that way. Not a terrible value in pricier cans if it’s good (which I think it will be).

I agree about the peppermint one though. Prob my least favorite variant to date.

Hope the other announcements are better. So far I have absolutely zero desire to repeat the 1 hour line @ 10AM again.

I was deep in it at work when I made my angry post, with clearer eyes the price point isnt awful, the beer sounds good (BA Blend one) but at this point can we even call it Port Omna, I think no, so why even push it as such? If I had the ability to get/try this one I would prob take it but we shall see. Also didnt realize they said more to come, still hoping for a coconut variant thats just coconut

Does anyone else think its strange that among all the stuff going on Kane is still releasing beers? I'm sure people come from all three surrounding states: PA, NY, NJ. I wouldn't be surprised if they postpone this.

No stranger than any other brewery still releasing stuff, which to my knowledge is nearly every one that usually has releases. Not sure why we’d single Kane out at this point.

Cause I don't follow many other breweries so to me I'm just thinking of Kane I was unaware, I still wouldn't be surprised if they postpone or change plans in some way. But who knows...

wonder if the style of these beers makes them think it'd be a bit easier to postpone?

kinda hoping i can dip in a little after open, get my haul and bounce.

Good question, but agree on singling out Kane. OH, Eq, and Magnify off the top of my head either have had releases this week or still planning releases. OH has still had the tap room open every day.

I know this is a big negative in the beer community but are we looking at plastic cups for the time being in a tap room as a valid option?

smh, y'all worried about beer releases.

You people living in a bubble now? NJT/PATH is still running, most jobs are still business as usual, and you're worried about a beer release where you can walk up at any time, grab a 4pk, and leave. Just try not to touch your face.

Have you guys seen how they wash beer glasses? they're not just swishing around a little bit of water and handing them back out. Breweries are probably one of the more sanitary places of business you will enter.
