Really have to tip the cap to Ryan and the Angry Chair staff for knocking it out of the park all week for TBBW. I went to the Rad Beer event, couldn’t have been smoother and heard the same for the Confection event (although I didn’t score tix for that one). Bar staff at AC pumped it out with great service all week and surprise crowler releases, and the tap list was awesome everyday with their best “whale” beers popping up on the draft board constantly.

Special kudos to their “chief of security” Victor. He polices the lines for all their releases and mans the door when needed. He really does an amazing job keeping the lines organized and well behaved which is no easy feat with the crush of crowds that AC gets. On top of that’s he’s always as nice as can be, unless you’re a shitlord and it’s time to not be nice. (Don’t test him, you will lose.)

Yeah visited Saturday ....got to try scoop cake, 5th Anniversary, the trail, two Popinski variants....was great

 

They also had a 1/2 gallon size pump of Purell sitting front and center on the bar for all to avail themselves of, which from what I saw was way underutilized.

C'mon beer geeks, wash those hands !

Had an account created with all my info saved already. Made it super quick to fly through the checkout with 3 bottles.

 

Didn't even try. Completely over that kind of beer, at least in huge ass 750mls. It'd be good trade bait, but I don't care about that any more either.

 

I was not so lucky. I even only tried for one bottle haha
