Galaxy Brau is so goddamn good. As expected.

I finally made it there last weekend for the first time, this was the beer of choice to bring home with me. And starting my day with that dark Czech lager? I’d like todo that regularly. We went to a couple haze factories after, JA was by far our best stop.

Is Galaxy Brau taproom only? None of my local stores have it. They've got Hoponius, House, Post Shift, and stupid Blood Orange. No Galaxy, which is too bad because I've been hoping to try it but won't be heading to Framingham any time soon.

I purchased a 4 pack in NY about 3 weeks ago.

Yeah it's all over stores upstate NY. Surprised that anywhere in MA wouldn't have it.

Saw it at least one store in Cambridge, and I think Somerville too.

I grabbed my Galaxy Brau at the Burlington Wegmans. They had a lot of it when it first dropped. Can't recall if it's been there during my more recent visits.

As if their beer, pricing model and taproom weren't great enough, JA keeps on giving us reasons to support the hell out of them.

Love this brewery. You better believe I stocked up on a mix of their delicious, reasonably priced brews for the weeks ahead

I don't know what it would take for someone to supersede Jack's Abby as my favorite brewery in Massachusetts. It's not that they make the most tits out beers in the state, but instead they make crusher beers top to bottom, have an incredible bierhall, are so affordable and so accessible throughout the state, and seem like genuinely good people committed to their community. Just wins all around

Yup, Jack’s Abby and Treehouse are my favorite bay state breweries!

Cheap and really good is all I need. They are part of a dying breed.

Edit: heed my deed with a bead and steed I guess.

Galaxy Brau is just hitting its stride right now IMO, BUT if you like really bright, dank hops in your lager, Citra Brau is rrrrrreally fresh right now. I was talking with one of the more beer geeky members of the staff and even he commented about how much more hop intense Citra Brau is fresh compared to Galaxy. Don't think they have cans yet, but they do have cans of dry-hopped post shift, their best non-framinghammer beer hall exclusive IMO.

These guys do a lot of good for the community locally, stop by for a pint this weekend if you can. Also, kaspar isn't on Cask, but it is on draft and it is quite quaffable.

I do not like bright, dank hops in my lager, haha.

I didn’t care for Citra Brau last year, but Citra isn’t my favorite hop either. I love Galaxy.

Due to that, and all the solid reviews here, I picked up a couple of cans of Galaxy Brau today.

Maybe not this weekend. Early May sounds lovely.

You can always swing by and pick up a gift card. Or just buy their beer at the store.

    True.
I had my last draft for the foreseeable on Wednesday night. I swung by a local bar because I saw they had When Fire and the Ocean Floor Collide on tap. Pretty wild but a little too sweet for me.
Was it worth it? Ask me in a week.

They did it again, another smash hit from the Keller series, Marzen Keller.
Clearly a Marzen, apart from a Festbier. My only concern is that it is very cloudy, where a Marzen (and Festbier) should be clear.

My guess is that they add some yeast towards the end of the brewing process, or whatever.

My question is should this Beer be in the Kellerbier/Zwickel group or in with the Marzen/Oktoberfests. I would pick Kellerbier because I could justify rating it higher than a Marzen, for the cloudiness.

What do you think? Yeah, you.
