Have only had 4 beers from Mikerphone In the last 6 months that I actually liked, double maple islbs, press play, BAOMWM and I thought bat out of hill was pretty good. The others stouts I tried ( have not had them all ) we're not very good. Might pop in again if I here they are doing better in the future.

I’ve been sitting on a bottle of vanillanoize for that reason. Hoping it comes around soon.

Bat out of hill wasn’t bad. Sat around the taproom for quite some time though. Only had pours of BAOMWM and double maple. They were good but didn’t warrant buying a bottle.

Somewhat disappointed. I'm a little biased as someone in frontline of the epidemic. Sure I was sad about stout fest, but I also secretly wanted postponement to happen. I applaud places that are being extra cautious.

Tickets for Single Barrel Bean Spirit are handed out. I got #98 a few minutes ago and there were 20 people behind me. They are letting people wait in cars and then line up before open.

Definitely over 110 now. Got 107 a few minutes ago. Single barrel count was 110 bottles yesterday and 104 bottles today so I guess I’ll see what happens.

Thought it was a well run release. Being able to leave and come back is great. I bought the glass on a whim and it is way bigger than I expected, can barely fit my hand around it. What do I drink from this thing?

Giving credit where credit is due...5 Finger Hop Punch is awesome! When Mike’s NE’s are on, they’re on

Actually, the restaurant announcement was for dine-in operations.

Pritzker orders all bars and restaurants to close to dine-in customers by end of day Monday

The virus was released in China in December and 12 weeks later they give 24 hours for a closure of all restaurants. Extremely irresponsible, far more so than letting them remain open and or giving citizens more time to prepare for these extreme measures. "Don't hoard food" but you have 24 hours to grab all the food you may possibly have access to for at least two weeks, perhaps several weeks, whatever whim we come up with and don't expect any humane notice.

They may also close restaurants to carry out, though that may depend on whether wonder he plopped a billion dollars into grubhub and doordash stock Friday afternoon, to hedge against his tanking Hyatt hotels.

What's next, requiring everyone to yank their toilets out of their houses and put them on the curb by Monday evening to be picked up by quadruple overtime paid streets and sans workers for preventative measures?

I'm sure you were just fine with Riverlands being open on Saturday... or every other brewery in Chicagoland posting that they were open sunday/monday and taking customers but doing a better job of wiping down stuff more

Small business could have made it work. The state didn’t trust us because of the idiotic behavior of many in Chicago on Saturday. Chicago’s stupid behavior is affecting the entire state right now

There are literally thousands of drunken idiots who take the Metra into the city each Saint Patrick Day weekend in Chicago.

Five years ago, I would have curb-stomped this one drunken idiot if the woman he was with didn't drag his sorry drunk ass away for talking shit because I didn't want to give him a high five for Saint Patrick's Day.

There are stupid people everywhere, doing idiotic things everywhere. Saint Patrick's Day is one of four amateur nights (night before thanksgiving, new years eve and "the big game" being the others) where lightweight fools are everywhere, many puking or crapping/pissing their pants a few hours in.

Yeah this is very disappointing. One of the best (if not the best) festival in Chicagoland. This basically confirms we won't be back to normal for at least 3 more months.

Not sure if this is Mike being hyperbolic, but in response to a FB comment lamenting that they should have just postponed it and not issued cancellation refunds, Mike said that there is no guarantee that Mikerphone will still exist period by the time this all ends. The capital purchases he just made must have really hamstrung his cash reserves.
