Well, since my insomnia is worse than usual, and both of my jobs have been locked down(for the obvious reason), why not crack a can of Boundary Bay Insubordination at 3:15am? What are my compadres dranking?

Have a good Monday. Woke up at 4 AM, been playing with my VR headset ever since. Beat the Zooma chapter 1 in about an hour. It's relaxing and I can sit down to do it. Looking through other stuff now. Still need a 4TB HDD. Need to call and get a status on a job interview today.

Illuminated King Felix. Awesome NEIPA. Lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, white grape/wine, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, white bread dough, light honey/toasted malts; and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/bready, and fairly sticky/resinous/rindy mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth/soft, minimal warming 7.5%. Awesome Motueka, Mandarina Bavaria & nelson Sauvin profile. Very juicy, vinbrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized bready oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Really impressive. 4.13

I had to go back and make sure that was your post. I recognized the beer photo but Zappa threw me for a loop. No VR and metal? Cheers.

An exhausting early morning grocery shopping online and verifying that newspaper makes for a viable hygienic dorsal posterior expulsion valve wipe (if worse comes to worse with TP supplies). Feel good. No high temperature, coughs or aches and pains. Mrs. BeerGoot feels better, too (probably had the flu). Time for a beer as the day unfolds...

Never pegged you for a Zappa-man, Ian...I believe this little jam showcases Dennis Walley on slide guitar...

Newspaper works - locally we recycle it through the farmers' methane producers. Last year's oak leaves work well too.

Good day BAs! Off to another week of keeping a low profile and hauling Mrs. Lizard to the doc's to announce her probable CHF. Today's New Breakfast Beer:

While Dennis Walley did play that on a lot of Zappa albums, this one is Tony Duran. Also, I was always a fan of Prog Rock and avant garde stuff, so Zappa was always up my alley. I just recently got into it though. His discography is enormous.

Yeah, I forgot about Tony Duran. Part of the Petit Wazoo era, I think. Regardless, amazing stuff can be found in Zappa's world...

La Goudale since I could run errands just at noon. Macron speaks tonight and according to many sources France will most likely be under siege and a lockdown starting tomorrow. Troubled times to live... cheers, I guess.

"Good" morning guys. Work's shut down, grocery store shelves are empty, now I'm waking up to hear our governor is shutting down all restaurants and bars. This is getting crazy. Recycled pic but drinking the same brew.

Light-moderate herbal, grassy, peppery, roast, charred bitterness; and cherry tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and fairly full body; with a very smooth, creamy, silky, velvety, fairly sticky/chalky, and lightly slick/acidic/tannic mouthfeel. Very smooth/soft.
