That's the problem I have with this beer now. Once I got a taste for one week old FP, two week old FP just doesn't do it for me anymore. Lol.

Same for me, but lately I cannot find it anywhere.

Yeah, me neither. I had to trade for it. Man was it worth it! At least you should have access to Columbus IPA to drown your sorrows. Here in NC, there just isn't that standard easy-to-get local IPA that I crave.

Really? I know they put out some bottles that are bottled-on, and I thought they were making that the standard but wasn't sure if it was in full swing yet. And I thought it was four months.

Regardless, gimme fresh FP and I'm happy. That's actually one bright spot of moving back to central NY in a few weeks, is getting to see the new brewery and getting more fresh FP and stuff like that (though I will miss having fresh Jai Alai, which appears to be ubiquitous here in central FL).

Mayflower IPA is very good. But I don't think its available outside Massachusetts and Rhode Island, unfortunately.

Glad to have Ithaca Beer Co a short 30 miles away from me.

Love this stuff. I'm about an hour and a half away from the brewery, but this can still be hard to find some days. Turns over much, much quicker than their other standards.

So true. We joke about IPA's not being worth drinking after 2 days, but freshness really is paramount in Flower Power, more so than any other beer I've ever tried.

A great, under appreciated beer. So juicy and has a great hop profile. Really sessionable and lately its been appearing on the South Shore in Ma. Debucas in Raynham had a few cases as of last weekend.

I just picked up two sixes of this today, bottled 11/5. I have a love hate relationship with this beer, I think first couple of times I had it, it was old. But now getting it relatively fresh. I love the smell, I crave it. The taste is growing on me too. It definitely is an excellent beer.

Hats off to Manhattan Beer Distributors for great communication and customer service when I inquired on what stores had this and how I could get it!

It is a fine IPA for sure and I'm happy whenever I can grab some. I do think the Troegs perpetual IPA might be better though and Hop Devil from Victory is up there too. Can never go wrong with Finest Kind either. Man craft beer is good!

Thread inspired me to pick up a sixer at Wegmans. You guys are crazy for talking down this beer so much when it's not fresh-fresh. This has had some weeks on it and is still amazing.

Hey I didn't say it's not good with a few weeks on it, but it's definitely best on tap or freakishly fresh.

Flower Power is fantastic...love it. Heady Topper is kind of in another league though, IMO.

Looks like I picked up a solid IPA for a fellow BA out in California. He's gonna be so happy. So glad he finally gets to try it!
