I would also like to be in on an order! I just don't have the time or desire to drive to every store in the state looking for this stuff.

Well we just need to figure out which store to order from (and what to order) then.

What was the Fou Fone running? I found it for about $10 a bottle a couple weeks ago.

Count me in as well. Better than driving store to store.

I have no idea what it's going for, I presume in the $35 range as St. Lam was $32 in August when it landed most places.

Online it runs about $37 (28 Euro) + shipping. Looks like Belgianinaboxx has a box with 2 FF & 2 Mamouche + Westvleteren... https://belgiuminabox.com

I would just want 1x FF + a glass, the other FF & 2 Mamouches & glass would be up for grabs, hit me up with what you guys want, I'll price the order and get back to everyone within 24 hours to calc shipping split between everyone.

That's a nice set. I've ordered a few times from belgiuminabox and been happy. They're sometimes a little slow, but Kurt is a good guy and quick to respond to email inquiries.

At least one place in C. Springs got some. But the public will not get to buy any from the store since they're saving it for a tasting. Just like when they got their last shipment of Avery sours. Mixed feelings on stores hoarding the rare stuff.

My local bottle shop sold their allocation to regulars. That's how it should be. If you spend your money and get to know the employes at a certain store you should be first in line for beers like Cantillon. This isn't a personal attack...just my experience. Cheers.

Must be Coaltrain saving it for their Sour beer tasting in December. I always hated how they handled that when I lived in the Springs. The ticket price for their tastings is always absurd... oh well

Last I heard from them.... A week or so ago... They weren't doing a sour tasting this year. Maybe now they will, totally expected them to hoard it if they got it.

If you read their Facebook, it explains that your statement is incorrect. There was no change of policy. If the beer is in stock, they sell it. It sounds like people were calling non-stop after they heard that Cantillon was in town (perhaps even through this thread) and once it came in, they sold it. Yes, they typically post stuff on Facebook when they get it, but they didn't have a chance to do it before the bottles sold out. I'm always bummed when I miss out on beers that I want, but it sounds like Mile High did absolutely nothing to exacerbate the issue.

I talked to a guy at another shop who said he got over 50 phone calls between Tuesday and Wednesday asking if they got Loon yet. The bottom line is: things are going crazy in the beer world right now, so if things go differently than usual, I'd begin to consider that the norm rather than the exception.

I think it should be based on a Thunderdome type system of allocation. Two men enter, one man leave. With a bottle of Cantillon.

The sour tasting is in Feb. so technically they're right. Its next year.

So I know we all went hunting the last couple of days. My question is this, is anybody really going to drink a whole bottle of Cantillon alone? I know my tasting group can count on seeing the bottles I was able to get sooner or later. It's late and my inner hippie is coming out! Cheers guys.

I didn't score any bottles off this shipment so you best believe I'm going to pop a 375 of Fou Foune tomorrow night and take it to the face. WOOOO!
